1996 gmc 6.5l brake line diagram
The brake system on your vehicle consists of hydraulic lines that run from the master cylinder to each wheel. The lines are typically made of steel and are routed along the frame rails and body of the vehicle. There are also flexible hoses that connect the brake lines to the brake calipers or wheel cylinders at each wheel.
If you need to replace a brake line on your vehicle, it is important to use the correct size and type of line to ensure proper operation of the brake system. The diameter of the brake line is typically 3/16 inch, but it is always best to confirm this by measuring the existing line or consulting the vehicle's service manual.
When replacing brake lines, it is important to use a tubing bender to create the necessary bends in the lines. Sharp bends or kinks can cause the brake line to fail, which can lead to a loss of brake fluid and a loss of braking power.
If you are not confident in your ability to replace a brake line on your own, I would recommend consulting a qualified mechanic for assistance. They can help you identify the correct brake line to use, and can install it for you to ensure proper operation of your vehicle's brake system.

How do I re sync the sunroof after installing a new motor and switch on a 2011 GMC 3500 crew cab?
The procedure you are following seems to be the correct one for resyncing the sunroof after a motor replacement on a 2011 GMC 3500 crew cab. However, there could be a few reasons why the procedure is not working for you:
- Incorrect installation of the new motor: Double-check that the new motor has been installed correctly and that all the electrical connections are secure.
- Faulty switch: The new switch you installed may be faulty, preventing the sunroof from syncing. Try using a different switch to see if that resolves the issue.
- Motor calibration: The new motor may need to be calibrated before it can sync with the sunroof. You may need to consult the vehicle's manual to determine the exact calibration procedure for your specific make and model.
- Mechanical obstruction: Check for any mechanical obstructions that may be preventing the sunroof from moving correctly. There could be debris or an object blocking the sunroof's tracks or preventing the motor from functioning correctly.
If you are still unable to sync the sunroof after trying these steps, you may need to consult a professional mechanic or bring your vehicle to a dealership for further assistance.
A 2004 GMC envoy XL will not go over idle RPMs
If your 2004 GMC Envoy XL is not going over idle RPMs, there are several potential causes. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and fix the issue:
- Check for a vacuum leak: A vacuum leak can cause the engine to not rev beyond idle RPMs. Inspect the vacuum lines and hoses for any signs of damage or cracks, and replace any damaged components.
- Check the throttle body: The throttle body may be dirty or malfunctioning, causing the engine to not rev properly. Remove the throttle body and clean it thoroughly, or replace it if necessary.
- Check the air intake system: A clogged air filter or dirty mass airflow sensor can cause the engine to not rev properly. Replace the air filter and clean the mass airflow sensor.
- Check the fuel system: A clogged fuel filter or failing fuel pump can cause the engine to not rev properly. Replace the fuel filter and test the fuel pump to ensure it is functioning properly.
- Check the electronic throttle control system: A malfunctioning electronic throttle control system can cause the engine to not rev properly. Have the system diagnosed by a qualified mechanic and replace any faulty components.
If you are unsure about any of these steps, or if the issue persists after attempting to troubleshoot, it's best to take your vehicle to a qualified mechanic for diagnosis and repairs.

I have a 2008 gmc sierra, trying to wire in power acoustik wmh7-s1. It has power and everything works but doesn't have sound?
If your 2008 GMC Sierra has power and everything works but you don't have sound from the Power Acoustik WMH7-S1 after wiring it in, here are some steps you can follow to try and troubleshoot the issue:
- Check the wiring: Make sure all the wires are properly connected and tightened. Confirm that the ground wire is securely connected to the vehicle's chassis.
- Check the fuses: Make sure the fuses for the audio system are not blown. Check both the main audio fuse and the subwoofer fuse if applicable.
- Check the speaker wiring: Confirm that the speaker wiring is correct, with the correct polarity (positive to positive, negative to negative).
- Test the head unit: If you have a multimeter, you can use it to test the head unit's output voltage. The voltage should be between 11 and 14 volts DC. If the voltage is too low, the head unit may not be providing enough power to the speakers.
- Check the speakers: If you have a multimeter, you can use it to test the speakers. Confirm that they have continuity, and that the speaker wiring is not damaged or shorted.
If you've tried these steps and are still experiencing issues, you may want to consider consulting a professional to help diagnose and resolve the problem.
I changed my battery on my truck 2004 gmc envoy xuv now my trunk won't open or unlock but the window does go down and up can anyone advise plz thanks?
It is possible that the battery change may have disrupted the electrical system of your GMC Envoy XUV and caused a problem with the trunk latch mechanism. Here are a few things you can try to resolve the issue:
- Check the fuse: The trunk release mechanism may be controlled by a fuse. Check the fuse box and replace any blown fuses.
- Check the trunk release button: Make sure the trunk release button inside the vehicle is working properly. If it doesn't work, try resetting the power to the vehicle by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting it.
- Check the trunk lock mechanism: Inspect the trunk lock mechanism to see if there is any visible damage or debris that may be preventing it from unlocking.
- Check the trunk latch mechanism: Sometimes the trunk latch mechanism can become stuck or jammed. Try lubricating it with a penetrating oil to see if that helps.
- Try the key: If your GMC Envoy XUV has a keyed trunk release, try using the key to open the trunk.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may need to take your vehicle to a professional mechanic for further diagnostics and repairs.
