Ford can't fix my 2009 ford focus SE because the part is not available. They said it's the smart junction box
That's the Achilles heel of modern cars. Shops don't want to take on a repair that likely will exceed the value of the car and then the owner just walks away after the shop has a couple grand into it and it still doesnt work or it keeps comming back ever other week.
If there's a vocational school near by that teaches automotive repair, they might use it as a case study. But you'll still need to provide a functional SJB. Used from eVendors $75-100 or you can send your unit to be repaired for $250-$300.
1979 Ford F100 how many gallon of gas I should put in the gas tank to start the engine?
for any vehicle on the market, its only necessary to put enough fuel in the tank to register movement of the fuel gauge.
if you have added enough to see it move just a little bit, that is plenty, if the vehicle does not start, begin test procedures to properly diagnose the reason it will not start.
just a gallon can make most move, but if you have put 3 or 4 gallons is and see no movement, check the gauge circuit including the new float and assembly You have just installed
1989 ford sierra sapphire 2L carb petrol pump location
The pump is located underneath the car, a short distance away from the fuel tank. It is mounted above a protective plate and looks similar to a fuel filter canister. You will need to clamp the fuel supply pipe BEFORE you remove the pump. Remember this is Petrol your working with! You will most likely have to remove the bracket plate it mounted on to get the pump out.
