As far as we know You cannot change the language on JDM cars.

Under the hood there's a 12 volt battery access terminal you can connect jumper cables to. Otherwise, you'd have to fold down the rear seats and dig around in the back to get at the battery. Toyota was kind enough to think ahead for such an eventuality. By the way - it's in your owner's manual somewhere.

RPM ????? it's really not adjustable.! that is the JOB 100% of the PCM it reads the RPM DIRECT FROM CKP sensor and software (ecu firmware) runs a servo system, that controls the ISC (electric air) the ecu works hard to keep rpm right under all conditions. so if RPM is too low (unstated) then its lost control.! this can happen vast ways.

well take a needle and see if there is a tiny hole below the part where you put the cd in,you should see a tiny hole somewhere on the face,put the needle in there till it ejects

If neither of those two things fixed it, it's probably the motor/generator itself having an intermittent open circuit in one of the windings. New motor (MG-1) time, I'm afraid.

The NHW20 Prius' 12v accessory outlets each have their own fuse in the fuse box under the steering column. (Those fuses are sadly easy to blow.) You'll either have to lay on the floor on the driver's side and look up, or use a mirror, to see the fuse box location. You'll have to pull off the panel door to see the fuses. The fuses are marked in the diagram on the inside of this fuse box cover panel.

Must have a bad wire. Most auto parts store sell the whole fixture as a replacement. But you need to make sure it's not in your wiring before you buy that part. Only way to do that is to have a small voltage tester and test each wire with power on. This type of stuff is better left to the mechanic that has the tools to go through the process of elimination.
