My Yoyota Highlander displays ABS on the dash board

Most likely a dirty or worn out ABS sensor...most shops can use DIAG to pinpoint exactly which wheel ABS is sending this warning signal...should not affect normal braking, but if you feel any braking variation, you should get checked before driving more...cost from $50 up...Hope this helps.

Why won't my highlander start.Nothing happens when key turned to start. Starter not turning.

If you went straight to starter with jumper cables and you got nothing then , then pull and have starter bench tested. Also make sure you haven't trigger some kind of security on your system that would lock you out from starting. you should see a security light flashing if you did.

How do I erase the wireless door locking function on my 2005 Toyota Highlander?

triple posted. the operators guide does cover this, i guess you lost yours? i posted the toy link to the free manual, get it ,as in 2015 it drops off the chapter on security, chapter 1,, page 33 clearly states what to do with the battery pulled. i sent the link in another post. i click doors and locks. here http://www.toyota.com/owners/web/pages/resources/owners-manuals then i click to page 33 see BATTERY? disconnected? it is there now or was, but life downloaded opr guides are always better than 7 year old guides.(paper or not) now ill paste it. f the battery becomes discharged dueto the vehicle being unused for a long time, etc., when the battery is recharged or replaced, the system will give the alarm. If this happens, immediately unlock any of the side doors or back door with the key or the wireless remote control transmitter, and the alarm will stop. reading further it does tell you how it auto arms and auto unarms, key in ignition does disarm it. and shows the key battery reset rules. RTM its all there, unlike your post implies.

Was the 2005 recall for the transmission highlander

Your do realize, your asking on an internet web site, about a vehicle recall, when only a dealer or info possibly, in a repair shop data base bulletin, would have that ? IF-- there was a recall 9 years ago, don't you think you would have gotten it or heard about it ? I doubt any dealer would honor it after 9 years or back when it was out of warrantee

Which is the break light fuse on 05 highlander?

First of all it is a BRAKE (not break) light fuse. Link to the manual section: http://www.toyota.com/t3Portal/document/om/OM48537U/pdf/8.pdf the fuse is #39 They make this easy for you to find. You put in your model and year and then you can search the manual for what you need. i.e. 'fuse' BUT I suspect (just a guess) it is not a fuse because the fuse is a 20 amp fuse and also supports the fuel injection system. There are other fuses that support the fuel injection system too (?!?) but if none of your brake lights are working including the third high brake light then pull this one and see if it is blown. Here is the link for the full manual: http://www.toyota.com/owners/web/pages/resources/owners-manuals#Owners-Manuals Lastly, I think you should submit the idea to Toyota: Break light! Great idea!

Front end vibration

It sounds like your brake rotors need to be replaced, they could be warped from overheating. This could be caused by applying the brakes too much while going downhill.

How do you remove the 3rd seat

It is possible to remove the 3rd row seat. It is secured by 4 bolts 2 on each side. You might need to remove the side deck panel to get access to these bolts. also you will need to remove floor board sub assembly and 2 covers on the seat assembly that cover the holding bolts for the seat. and after you remove the seat it will be clear how to remove the seat belts. This job requires some mechanical common sense so you wouldn't break things. Most panels are secured by clips but you need to make sure that there are no screws anywhere before starting to pull the panel to unclip the clips. Otherwise it is easy to do and wouldn't take long at all. Basic hand tools are required you might need a Phillips screw driver and might also need a 14mm or 17mm socket with a ratchet.
