What is the best oil to put in my rav4
2003 please?
using a high grade full synthetic is the best.
the oil grade which is 10w30 is for average driving conditions.
for winter,5w30 and 10w40 for summer is also recommended by alot of car manufacturers.The oil filler cap will tell you the oil grade.

how do i Reset the check engine light on my 2003 RAV4
fix the problem that is setting it off --or disconnect the neg battery terminal for a few minutes this clears all trouble codes from the computer but if their is a problem the check engine light will come back on

I have a code of p1155 bank 1 sensor 2. which sensor is that
CODE P1155 HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR RIGHT HAND FRONT HEATER CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION.

P1135 code on 2003 Rav4 - would like to do this repair myself. I had a previous fault for a bad O2 sensor that had not been fixed yet. I understand this is an Air Fuel sensor (different than the O2?)
Trouble Code: P1135
A/F Sensor-11 (Bank 1 Sensor 1) Heater Circuit Malfunction
Possible Causes:
A/F sensor heater circuit or ground circuit is open.
A/F sensor heater power circuit is open.
A/F sensor heater is damaged or has failed.
PCM has failed .From autozone repair guides.

When I am driving my Rav4 sometimes it takes a long time to shift into second gear. It runs fine for a while with no problems then suddenly it takes a while to shift in to second and then eventually it jerks into second. Sometimes it rides fine but then occasionally it just keeps sticking in second gear. There have been a few times when it would not shift at all, but then it eventually "fixes itself" and then the problem reoccurs after about 20 or 30 miles of city driving. Any suggestions?
check the level of the transmission fluid while the engine is running.
also has the transmission been "flushed"? a lot of shops just use
dextron atf with the additives supplied by the supplier of the flushing machine.
this can cause problems in toyotas.
replacing the fluid with the correct (T IV) transmission fluid
may help.
but if you are having this much trouble it may be too late.
