You may have put a valve in wrong or the wrong length of push rod which mean it is bent. You could of have more than one of them misplaced.

Parking brake may not be fully released. In some vehicles it can also be an indication of something wrong with the braking system. You can also check your owners manual to see if it says anything about this.

Select free channel or frequency on your radio and align it with the one on fm modulator depending on the type of radio used. Make sure the modulator has the power on. Does the cigarette lighter work, if not check it. make sure the radio receiver/ transmitter component or antenna connected as this need frequency to produce sound like a radio.

Locate the feeder from the tank going into the injectors, some filters are placed under the car next to the electronic pump, or just behind the engine above the gearbox towards the engine

Four wires the the sender unit. One will have 12 volts all the time with key on. This is the fuel gauge. One will have power for 2 seconds when the key is turned on. This is the fuel pump. Two of them will have a constant ground. Grounds will be black, black with a colored stripe on it, or have a black stripe. Check the harness plug plug for voltage, again it only last for 2 seconds. If you have voltage at the wire. replace the pump. If not, probe the wire about 3 inches back from the plug, check for voltage again. If you have voltage there repair or replace the plug. Most wires break right behind the harness plug.

Location of the Thermostat

Open the bonnet to access the engine compartment. Locate the radiator in the front of the engine compartment. There are two hoses that run off the radiator. The bottom hose runs to the water pump and is where the coolant is pushed into the radiator and moves up through the ridges to allow time to cool off. The top hose is the hose that runs to the thermostat housing. Follow the top radiator hose to where it is clamped to the motor and you will notice a housing that the hose is clamped to. The housing can be opened with a socket wrench. This housing contains the thermostat. You may need to remove the radiator hose to access it. Unscrew the hose clamp and pull the hose off the assembly. Once the housing is opened you can pull the thermostat out with your fingers.

I would stick with the factory recommended sparkers....you aren't going to feel or see much of a performance boost with some exotic or expensive set of plugs - you might be able to measure a spark size difference in a lab, but from the driver's seat....(my opinion is) you're just fooling yourself if you think pricey plugs are making a perceivable difference in performance. If you have a few extra dollars, put it into a high quality air filter - that will give you better airflow & less restriction, and that will give you a better boost for your dollar in the performance section...

I am having the SAME problem with my 99 Corolla, Still searching for a way to disable the factory security system, for the last two years I have the vehicle hotwired through the headlights to start it. (1 wire to battery positive, 1 wire to starter hot lead, touch them together.) unfortunately this has proven very dangerous as the vehicle will start even in gear, and take off without a driver. additionally, because the alarm is going off continuously, the battery dies if not disconnected after every use. I found the fuse in the relay box that disbles the alarm, and the car starts fine, unfortunately, It it also the fuse for the alternator, so that solution will not work either. If anyone has found true way to disable the system, PLEASE offer your suggestions!

charging voltage doesnt matter as much as charging current. what you need to know is that for a battery to charge properly it needs a feed of about 2.0amps over a period of 8-10hours (my recommendation) . you need to establish whether your charger can provide a 12volt 2.0amp output. take a look at this link, it very useful: Charging your car battery

run the fault codes and check for cam/crank position sensor fault(broken timing belt/chain)./ Check operation of immobiliser.

I don't know the answer and I didn't google it assuming you did that already but try taking the positive terminal off your battery for a bit. Try to reset the system.

Needs adjustment to change valves. Check fluid level first.
