the lever in /on the door lock which is held on with a plastic clip has come off in the locked position ,from the sound of it so it will be beyond your capability to repair this,sometimes if you know the build then you can open it through the open window with the rubber strips and a nice metal coathanger .if not remove the seat and try to remove the door trim,not really a sunday mechanic type of job

hi from what your symptoms describe ? it may well be as simple as the actual link at the gearbox underneath where cable attaches has either come loose / the clevis pin has come out/ or cable outer sleeve clamp has loosened so instead of inner cable selecting the outer cable sleeve is moving back//forth or the obviouse theory you have snapped cable? if any of above? feel sure you can diy repair with a little patience the most important tool in any tool kit! best wishes

Did you check under the hood? There should be a decal w/ the proper routing of the belt somewhere in or around the engine compartment. If u can't find it, let me know, I'll try to get more info. countrycurt0

Is it one of your belts check drive belt and power steering belt. also check your water pump and alternator I have had trouble with alternators in the past 2 have seized up.

they are usually on the sprocket sometimes an arrow or a circle. make sure the timing is on TDC when you replace it

sounds like a sensor check the unit that plugs into the block on the top part of engine passenger side.

take off the console and under there is the nuts you need to let go to remove the cables

If this is a door lock cylinder you will have to remove the door pannel then locate the back of the cylinder , there is a flat clip that slides out which holds it in place. Note ; disconnected the clip holding the rod attached to it as well.

take off tire and brake drum you do not have to take off brake shoes remove the four bolts on the back of housing and tap the unit out good luck

try seafoam additive to your gas tank get your fuel lines and your pump checked it has a fuel filter but it is inside the tank on your pump
