Re-fill the washer fluid container under the hood or if you have done that then your fill sensor at the bottom of the container is bad or broken!

Hi Jerald, If you have filled the reservoir the sender unit or connections to it are defective. Fill it first and see if it goes out. Regards John

Meloe77, there's a high possibility you have a mechanical failure inside the engie causing the knocking sound. (Check the oil?)
The reason for shutting off is because the knock sensor can hear it, and the powertrain control module (PCM, herefore) is trying to detune the engine to eliminate the sound, (as if it were caused by bad gasoline.) The fact that there is a mechanical knocking sound, means that the sound cannot be eliminated by detuning of fuel or spark mapping, therefore it starves for fuel and/or spark causing the engine to stop running.
My recommendation: Have the vehicle TOWED to a reputable mechanic and ask him if its possible that I'm right.

The float in the brake resevoir appears to be stuck at the low fluid level. Try taking off the cap and moving the float to seeit taht works

Have to get yourself some wiring diagrams to figure that out

Not sure I follow your problem.The alternator puts out 13-14 volts at idle but very few amps. If you turn on the headlights at idle the voltage may drop to 12 until you raise engine speed. The amperage goes up with engine speed.Is the battery voltage at least 14 when the engine speed is 1500RPM or more ?

Here's a link to it,this year has 2 size engines,the 2.2 and the 3.0.The 5S-FE is the 2.2 engine and the 1MZ-FE is the 3.0 engine.

You may have a bad switch on that door lock, there is a switch on the key cylinder so that when you turn the key to unlock the door it will shut down factory alarm, to see if this is the problem go to passenger side door and use key to unlock the door and see if the light still blinks.
