How do you remove a 12 volt cigarette lighter in a

If the problem is a bad lighter socket: 1. pop off the radio bezel (it just prys out, no screws). 2. remove the radio (4 screws), and unplug the radio (or let it dangle on the wires). now you can see the socket wiring. 2. unplug the wire from the back of the socket 3. the knurled part at the back of the socket is actually a nut - unscrew it 4. lighter will fall out in your hands 5. the problem might be the little black wire that ties the metal that the wire plugs onto to the internal socket. if so, snip it out and solder in another similar size wire.
