The door panel has to be removed even if the seats have to be removed or the panel has to be destroyed. One thing that might help is to remove the panel from the opposite door so you can familiarise yourself with the geography of the door internals. It might then be possible to blindly manipulate the faulty door internals working through the gap created just by releasing the rear of the panel...

Yes, there's a fuse box inside the hood for ac but there's one more in another fuse box inside the car for the ac control. Check the one inside first.

check the positive wire is short to ground somewhere or one of the dome bulb short to ground

I had a reliant that did the same thing I put in a manual choke control cable and used it for another year before I got rid of it for a newer car, hope this helps

This is known as 'dieseling'. The most common causes are -idle speed set too high -engine operating too hot (faulty thermostat, faulty temp sender, leaky head gasket) engine timing is out (loose distributor clamp, worn timing belt, faulty timing belt tensioner) -

It may just be a case of needing the remotes to be programmed, see the dealer on this.

It sounds like a classic case of an idle speed control motor sticking. If this problem happens when it is cold then does not do it until it sits and gets cold again this is probably the problem. The idle speed control motor is bolted to the bottom of the throttle body. Pay attention that throttle body needs to be removed to get it off.Hope helps.
