Heating is a separate system. There is probably a control valve that is not opening.

Look on the lower end of the radiator going toward the engine on the passenger side. You should see a petcock, which is a drain valve. Put a container under it and turn it counter clock-wise.

it is inside the gas tank, part of the sender unit. you have to take the tank out of the car in order to replace it. while it is out of the car do yourself a favor and replace the fuel pump too so you do not have duplicate labor when the pump goes out next year. before you go nuts, pull the liner or carpeting out of the trunk and make sure your car's trunk does not have a service access to the gas tank.
generally gas tanks are mounted under the trunk.

the oil sending unit is bad or unplugged.

most likely you have the ground wire on the radio unit hoked to the dash light wire, we see this all the time when you were testing the wires to find the ground wire the dash light wire will test as a ground wire if the head lights are off.

Check the fuse for the lights- I'll bet it's blown. If it is, it may be because of a short in the wires or something. If you changed the light switch, whoever did it might have messed the wiring up a little bit and they just need to be taped better or something. You can replace the fuse and see what happens next.

the knock sensor is located at the center of the engine in the rear, heres a diagram witha list of the sensor locations,it shows the knock sensor, it looks like its in the front of engine but its not its in the rear, good luck.

it may be a brake light switch. on most vehicle the brake light switch releases the shift lock that may be your problem

It sounds pretty much like the starter motor isn't getting excited, maybe there is a fuse or relay somewhere to have the power transfer to power up the starter motor, maybe have your local auto electrician take a look, cheers good luck
