The connector would be located under the steering wheel in the mess of wireing under there, it should be cleary labeled and the only main harness not plugged in.

I had a power problem, when cold idled just fine,when warm it would miss at idle, spudder on acceleration and sound just fine at higher rpm. found number three spark plug wire had burned through lower boot. Spark was firing to head at low idle. same wire burn twice with about 40000 mile between.

I think you might be only intermittantly noticing it.
Check around the fuel injectors for signs of wetness as soon as you notice it again. Failure of the metal-plastic junctions is pretty common. Their expansion and contraction rates are different so eventually, the seal can fail. 

It might be a bad ignition switch located in the steering column. Try wiggling the key as you start it, is that helps, it is most likely a bad connection.

its normal it just a moisture in your piping which causing to smoke that way...but if the smoke still when normal driving you might check the reservoir for cloudy water instead of coolant in that case you may have a blown head gasket if you got luck but if no cylinder or head are crack..anyways do not worry about white smoke you must worry if you have black smoke

it seems a little bit low allan normely its around 12 / 13 volts with it being a diesel as well there a bit harder to start

did you hook up a volt meter to battery? what was the reading 12.79 volts or less? and how about load testing battery for stability on cranking amps.

this seems to be a problem with fuel lines they have been known to corrode and the flexy sections perrish the lines are hard to get at ihave heard of a quote at dealer of 250! .

I think its a very good idea, to replace the oil filter, fuel filter and air filter when you replace the engine oil.
I will guess that the fuel filter is in need of replacement. It's also an idea for you to check the air filter. To check the air filter, use a very strong light and hold it behind the filter....If you can see the light through the filter material you're safe, if not you need it replaced. The air filter is a very important filter for durable engine life.

If that doesn't work, we'll need to learn more about what happened as a lead up to the problem.

Have the valve clearances checked, it could be tappits noise.....Has the vehicle ever been over heated? How's the power output from the engine, has it changed since you've had the vehicle? Does the sound disappear completely, or is the knocking sped up so it's faster and becomes hidden?

I think that it will be a good idea for you to have a technician listen to the engine, to make sure that you don't have a serious problem. Get two or three opinions

Possible faulty sensor in one of the wheels. Need to plug scanner to check which one.

Hi It sounds like you have a loose connection either grab a torch and look under the dash as much as possible to see if any connections are loose or take it to an auto electrician and and ask for a quote to check out the issue.
