The pump is bolted to the front of the engine (remember that the engine is sideways so the front of the engine is not the front of the vehicle) and is driven by the serpentine belt.

Check connection at starter motor relay, the relay may be bad if you don't hear a "click". If it clicks, it works and the problem would then be the starter itself.

Check fuel pressure. Bucking, hesitation is often caused by low fuel pressure. Have a fuel pressure test done.

hola, porque el toyota previa 91, tiene un tanque enfrente que al parecer es para el aceite de motor. pero bajo el aciento tiene otro que tambien indica aceite de motor. nadie me despeja esa duda y el tanque esta seco, pero el nivel de aceite de abajo me marca correcto. que hago? ayudenmeeee!

Look at the center of the dash, above the radio, where there is a "hump". That is the door to the fuse box. There should be a latch, above the radio/heater controls, under this door... Depress it & it lifts up towards the windscreen.

sounds like a fuseable link somewhere make sure all your fuses aqre good after this it is on to the ohms meter got to find where you are loseing power
