It could be that; the FAN MOTOR works but the fan-wheel is not turning. This usually happens when the center spindle of the fan-wheel RUSTS and eventually loses contact with the actual wheel itself.
Filling up with fuel may be a coincidence to your problem, or you may have purchased contaminated fuel.
The check engine light will log a "Fault Code" in the vehicles on board computer which may help you diagnose the problem.
A fuel leak, if present, is a serious concern and until you determine if the vehicle is leaking fuel you should not drive it.
Hi
There is are 3 bolts securing the starter motor, the starter motor is located under the passenger seat area and should be accessed from under the vehicle. The key is to get the van high enough to be able to slide comfortable under the side of the van to access all bolts, only the bottom bolt has a bolt and a nut the other 2 bolts have threads which secure the starter motor onto the engine there is one bolt at the bottom, one bolt in the middle and one bolt near the very top you will have to undo the 2 x 10mm bolts that hold the dip stick first to be able to get to the middle and top bolt of the stater motor. take your time and have some patience you will get it it just takes practice.
Before you tear anything apart check your battery cables on both ends for looseness. Dirt or corrosion.will not let power through. I tried to boost my car and nothing would work. It was like the battery was dead so I got towed in. They put a battery tester on and the battery was fully charged so they replaced my battery cables and bingo everything was working again. One cable was not letting the power through it.

Okay, so you've got a Toyota Previa with a blown head gasket. ... The next few pix are taken after dropping the engine out from the bottom using a ... You can see a definite path between the water jacket and the cylinder. ... I believe this was a result of #1blowing and over pressurizing the cooling system.
Has the vehicle been overheating or losing coolant? The symptoms you describe could point towards head gasket trouble (and other faults). Often, the exhaust fumes from a car with a failing head gasket will smell 'pungent' and 'sharp'.
Check the oil on your dipstick. If there's a greyish/cream sludge - sometimes referred to as 'mayonnaise' - this points towards coolant entering the oil system via a leaking head/head gasket.
Also check your coolant - is there any evidence of engine oil in it? Although the mayonnaise on the dipstick is usually the tell-tale sign of gasket problems.
If you suspect the head/head gasket try a special sealant such as:
Sounds like the Gas filter. Fairly easy fix. Locate gas tank. Follow gas line to engine, about half way usually by back door under the car, drivers side, is the small filter. Take a pic of it. Head over to car parts store. Show them what you need. It only takes a wrench and a bucket to catch a little gas.
You should be able to reset all trouble lights by disconnecting the negative side of the battery for 30 seconds. The problem with that is it will come back on if not addressed. It is most likely a sensor in your emissions that is causing this.
Possibly, but you could also suspect the computer-controlled idle valve or motor, the throttle position sensor, or a weak fuel pump.
It might help you to check for any trouble codes in the computer. The check engine light is used to flash out 2 digit trouble codes; here's how to do so, with a list and description of codes:
