How easy is it to fit a prop shaft coupling on a Toyota
Undo front coupling first and slide shaft towards the rear of the vehicle. Just enough room then to slide the front coupling downwards may need to use hammer on old front coupling.
Replace front coupling. Replace rear coupling.

How do I remove and replace a starter from a 1993
Removal & Installation
- Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery.
- Raise and safely support the vehicle.
- If equipped with 4WD, remove the front drive shaft.
- Remove the nut and disconnect the starter wire.
- Disconnect the starter connector.
- Remove the bolt holding the starter stay to the upper stiffener plate.
- If equipped with 2WD, remove the starter by removing the nut and three bolts.
- If equipped with 4WD, remove the starter by removing the nut, four bolts, and the center bracket.
To install:
- If equipped with 4WD, install the starter, the center support bracket, nut, and the four bolts.
- If equipped with 2WD, install the starter, nut and three bolts.
- Install the bolt to hold the starter stay to the upper stiffener plate. Tighten the bolt to 43 inch lbs. (5 Nm).
- Install the starter connector.
- Connect the starter wire with the nut. Tighten the nut to 78 inch lbs. (9 Nm).
- If equipped with 4WD, install the front drive shaft.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
Good luck and this should take about 2 1/5 hours from start to finish and if you like, use lock tight medium strength to make sure the bolts don't go lose on you.

My 1991 Toyota Previa has been sitting and now won't start.
You need to check a couple of things. If your car has been sitting, then it could be any of a number of problems. Check to make sure that you have the three things your car needs to run. 1. Air- is the air filter clean with no blockages like mouse nests on the intake side and also in the exhaust pipe!! 2. Fuel- Do you hear the fuel pump kick on for 2 seconds when you first turn the ignition to the run positon? If not, your fuel pump could be suspect. 3. Spark- If you have air and fuel, but no spark, then your ignition system is under investigation. Be methodical you need all 3 of these things for the car to run, without any one them your stuck!
Hope this helps you out!! Try running the car on propane, if it runs beautifully, then you know it's a fuel delivery problem.

Truck will not start getting power from battery
You should have two "wires" going to the starter. One (bigger cable) will have positive voltage all of the time. The other (smaller) will have positive voltage only while the key is turned to "start." If you have both of these, your starter is bad.

It is probably a oil pressure problem. If there is some sort of small blockage in an oil journal it could stop oil from flowing to the lifters which would cause the the tapping noise. at this point the best thing to do would be to try and flush out the engine with some sort of desludging agent. One thing i usualy do is drain the oil and re-fill it with atf and run it for about half an hour or an hour and then re-drain and replace with normal engine oil. transmission fluid contains tonnes of detergents and should help clean out any blockages.

Engine cooling fan
you will need an electric fan fitted to the radiator and bear in mind that you will need the appropriate voltage reading etc,so you need the right power source. Also you need to consider a thermostat fitted in the cooling system unless you want to run it on direct power. For any questions, please ask.

My front end seems to bind up and make loud
check your c/v joints on the ends of the front drive axles. a split or torn boot indicates that the joint inside has become contaminated with road dirt and has failed.

Cigarette lighter not wotking
Hi, check the fuse box under the dash on the passenger or driver side. There is a cigarette lighter fuse that may have burned out. if the fuse is in good condition, this will confirm element failure. you will need to replace the lighter head in this case(uncommon).
**Most common issue here will eb a busted or burned out fuse..

How do you change a front side light bulb
Turn Signal/Marker Light
REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
- Remove the one retaining screw from the upper corner of the lens.
- Tape the end of a pry tool, then carefully extract from the bottom of the lens in a rocking motion till the stud is loosened from the retainer.
-
NOTE: Do not pry from the back of the lens, this will crack the lens or damage the paint.
- Pull the lens assembly straight out from the body towards the front of the vehicle.
- Twist and remove the wiring from the back of the lens.
- Twist the bulb and remove it from the socket.
Fig. 5: Once the bulb is removed, inspect the socket for corrosion
To install:
Before installing a light bulb into the socket, ensure that all electrical contact surfaces are free of corrosion or dirt.
NOTE: Before installing the light bulb, note the positions of the two retaining pins on the bulb. They will likely be at different heights on the bulb, to ensure that the bulb is installed correctly. If, when installing the bulb, it does not turn easily, do not force it. Remove the bulb and rotate it 180 degrees from its former position, then reinsert it into the bulb socket.
Insert the light bulb into the socket and, while depressing the bulb, twist it 1/8 turn clockwise until the two pins on the light bulb are properly engaged in the socket.
To ensure that the replacement bulb functions properly, activate the applicable switch to illuminate the bulb which was just replaced. If the replacement light bulb does not illuminate, either it too is faulty or there is a problem in the bulb circuit or switch. Correct if necessary.
Install the socket and bulb assembly into the rear of the lens housing; otherwise, install the lens over the bulb.
Insert and secure the lens assembly into the body of the vehicle.
