I suggest that you take it to a professional , if after running the car it runs fine, it could be very well the transmission. You can also check when you start the car, if it takes too long to start, then you better have the timing belt check. But it's hard to pinpoint the problem without looking at it.

Hi and low beams run on different fuses too. Check the low beam fuse. There might be a grounding strap not making good connection too.

FSM covers it. put hand on top large RADiator hose. follow said hose to STAT housing, bingo , inside.

Check for wire disconnected where you plug your seatbelt into. it will probably go under the carpet a bit, but it is there. If it is broken/disconnected, the alarm will continue to sound. There is one in the passenger side too, but should only sound when a passenger is seated unless you have more than one problem here...

Follow the top radiator hose back to where it attaches to the engine. That's where the thermostat is.
