I would take a volt meter and check if you are getting any power from the wires. If if their is no power you might need to replace or find the short that is in that wire

you probably need to be mechanically inclined to fix this problem. When the shoulder strap stopped working on mine the switch that is operated by the door latch had to be serviced. ie: the door will have to be taken apart to access the switch.

If you are trying to get the car to start easier you still may be venting through the gas line or gas cap. The new fuel line may solve the problem. What you still can do is replace the gas cap.
Both Autozone and O'reilly will test your car free. The system on an 87 model may not generate a trouble code on your dash for the problem you have. But the test gauge may show it.
If the car has zip the fuel pump may be okay. If the car fast idles briefly when cold, the cold start system is working. If the car does not idle up, the cold start system is not resetting.

Check your horn relay to see if you can't find the wire that goes to your horn. If cant find it you can bypass your relay and connect the wire directly to your horn switch located on your steering wheel.

sounds like the fuel pump isnt driving gas to the engine. It may need replacing

what about the ignition igniter module?? has it been replpaced, id u check for spark? do u smell gas? fuel pump may be sticking.

The only fix is to replace the spring-loaded seat belt retractors. This is a dealer only item. The dealer will have to reset the computer that controls the seatbelts.
The seatbelt retractors are not serviceable. The entire assembly must be replaced.

Installing seat belts must be done correctly. Drilling holes and just bolting them down is risky. Factory installed seat belts have engineered structural support to secure the belts.

87 could br r12 but switch to R134a R12 is too expensive and you have to be certified to buy it in most states.

i maybe wrong but it may be in the gas tank try these website to see if you can get any more information www.autozone.com and the other one is www.alldatadiy.com and call your local parts store and they sure be able to tell you if they think you are going to buy the fuel pump from them.

There Is NOT a FUSE for the Seat Motor I Have Checked The Manual EXTENSIVELY and for seat Fuse AND "RELAY" the Only fuse is for Auto Seat-belt & Warning Light. I Do Believe there Should be A Relay Under the seat This is Where Most Forgen Vehicle Seat Relays are. AlData Shows NO Power Seat FUSE Or Relay though. Seat "BELT" Motor Module is Under Consel At Park Brake Lever Area----------Hope this Helps

Check your fuel pump maybe you might need to replace it.

The problem you are experiencing is one of two possiblilties. First, the bendix is weak in the starter. Best course of action is to replace the starter. When you pull the starter out, use a pry bar or screwdriver to rotate the flywheel an inspect the meshing teeth of the flywheel. If there is a section that has worn teeth then the flywheel needs to be replaced.
