2000 Toyota Echo coupe sure to pass smog all spec's and testing

You probably already learned that you should have taken it to a reputable repair shop. Whenever a vehicle wont pass emissions, don't try and fixing it yourself, take it to the dealer and let them use the skills and tools they paid thousands of dollars for just to help you get your car back on the road.

My little echo creeps into intersection when i put my foot onto the excelerater Its very scary. It happens in the morning when left in garage.

Sounds like a transmission problem, and a dangerous one. You should take it to a good transmission specialist as soon as possible. Automatic or manual?

Car clicks but wont start

the alternator lamp will not go out until the engine runs.. the alt converts engine horse power to electric power, no engine, no alt. so that means the engine will not start, or better it wont crank subzero C or Subzero F.,, -10F or -10C, vastly different temps. ??????? no crank, then jumper cable crank it with donor car running. crank now,? yes , then battery is bad,weak or just discharged. no, then starter bad, or key line bad. hot wire starter solenoid. cranks now, is bad key line if not, bad starter. did you wiggle the shifter at crank. did you wiggle key. extra. did you try crankiing in neutral using fresh start contacts.>... yah.

2000 echo shuttering when you accelerate

Sounds like an engine misfire.Does the check engine light come on or flash. If so, it may be a spark plug or ignition coil issue. The transmission can also cause a shudder problem. These transmissions are usually rather dependable though.

How do i replace the fuel pressure regulator

Replacing fuel pressure regulator on Toyota Vitz, Yaris and Eco: 1. Remove rear seat. 2. Remove rear service hole cover. 3. Remove fuel pump and vapor pressure connector. 4. Start the engine till it stops on it own and switch the ignition to OFF. 5. Remove the tube joint clip, wrap a piece of cloth around it and pull out the main tube. 6. Pinch the fuel emission tube connector clip and pull it out. 7. Remove the 8 bolts and fuel tank vent tube set plate. 8. Remove the fuel pump assembly. 9. Remove the O ring from fuel pump assembly. 10. With help of screw driver remove the fuel pump locking plate. 11. Remove the fuel pump regulator with screw driver a bit force fully. 12. Check the fuse first, then see if you can turn fan by hand to see if it's froze...probably need a new fan

how about a oil filter removal tool to go round the wheel and get some leverage on the wheel. There is a recurring loud squeak from under the hood. What is it?

May be a worn on loose drive belt that squeaks as the engine idle speeds up as you change gear. Spray the belt with WD40 or similar . If this stops the squeak tighten or replace the belt.

When i'm driving in the freeway and step on the

warped rotors are the first things to look at,I would change the rotors/pads first,as you would normally change these at 50k anyway.and if this cures it, its less to do at your major service.....the clue is "when you put your foot on the brake"
