IV JUST REPLACED THE CAM BELT AND THE CAM TIMING IS CORRECT BUT I THINK THE DISTRIBUTOR TIMING IS OUT. WHEN I PULLED THE DISTRIBUTORS OUT I RESET THE CRANK TO ITS MARK AND SET THE CAMS TO THERE MARKS AND NOW MY DISTRIBUTORS OUT AND NOT FIREING IN TIME. IS THERE A TRICK TO SOLVING MY PROBLEM
With the timming marks lined up make sure that cylinder 1 is at top dead center on the compresion stroke, then as you lower the distributer back in make sure that the rotor is pointing to the number 1 plug wire post on the distributor cap, mark the distributor where the #1 post is since you can't install it with the cap on.

Check up high on the left front kick panel - you will have to get your head right up there.
Also in the engine compartment on the driver side mounted to left inner fender

I have a Toyota Corolla AE 100 manual transmission. The gear shifter gets stuck , usually when shifting from 2nd to 1st gear or third to second. This occurs most when the vcar has been running for 10-12 km and very rarely when the engine is cold. When the gear is stuck and difficult to move even after pressing the pedal to the end, I pump the clutch pedal several times and this makes it easier to move the shifter. I have changed the clutch and presuure plates changed the transmission oil, washers in the hydraulic system. What may be the problem?
why my 2006 corolla car gearbox is stuck in third gear and cannot move
