2004 Toyota Solara DISARM Alarm, Has NO toggle switch! HELP PLS!!
the key fob should have LOCK, UNLOCK, TRUNK and PANIC...the dealership isnt going to charge you a million dollars to ck it...there is no "toggle switch" that I know of, is there a TOYOTA emblem on the key fob? if its a factory TOYOTA system then they should be able to dignose it and fix it for you. sometimes it works with the body control unit and you really cant disable it, without other things being affected. have they checked for body DTC's?? they may need the car to act up with them in order to find out why its happening. is there any sense to it? hot. cold, raining, early in the am, if the alarm is set can you go around and jiggle the door handles, rap on the the hood, trunk? maybe kids are trying to get in?? has it happened for you just sitting there. these kinds of problems take time and patience to figure out, sorry I could not be more help.

1990 Toyota Cressida Antifreeze leaking badly
Your cooling system is what keeps your car from having a meltdown. If you didn't have some way to cool things off, your engine would turn into a solid block of useless metal in no time flat. All of the parts that make up the cooling system have one goal of moving
coolant around the engine so it can absorb and dissipate heat. The basic system is made up of the following components:
- radiator
- radiator top hose
- radiator bottom hose
- water pump
from your problem u stated
Checking for the problem I saw some a lot of antifreeze on the bottom of my engine covering or whatever it is (not the hood).
looking at the parts involved its probably not burning in the engine unless the car has overheated to much, it sounds likes its one of ur delivery or return hoses from the motor that is leaking. do a close attention to detail to your hoses and components related to the cooling system, u may not see the leak from the top since gravity will draw the fluid down
Melted spark plug wire
You did not say if you were overheated, also what liquid and what is meant by spark plug filled with liquid, if plug was removed from block! (antifreeze?) Check oil and if water in it you more then likely have a blown head gasket. Hot engine is what most likely caused burnt wire. They make sealers that are put in radiators to repair leaks if cost is a problem and you are comfortable using them, and if not, have head gasket replaced which can be quite costly. Mechanic can determine cause with a compression test. Other things you would be wise to consider if installing new head gasket would be changing water pump, timing belt and crankshaft seal as while as the other belts that need changing.Of course this would depend on whether you planned on keeping the vehicle and if it was worth it. You can talk with a mechanic about using a sealer if this is the problem. I know of no other liquid it could be other then antifreeze.Oil is unlikely. P.S You might want to find out where the oil leak is and correct it before you do more damage!
Loping and high idle
You are really onto it! Either the TPS or the cable from the peddle. Do check the cable first. Frankster016
Getting to hot !
OK TEST OR REPLACE THE RADIATOR CAP THA'S one of the most never check or replace items in the cooling system by mechanics also if this not take care of your problem i recomend you to take the radiator to a radiator chop to have it clean or replace it becasue all radiators looks clean but they acumulate all the garbache at the lower side becasue garbache acumulate there by grabity and this is hard to diagnose, after doing all this make sure to bleed any air from cooling system
but do not skeep any recomendation starting with the radiator cap.
90 toyota cressida fan clutch
I just replaced the fan clutch on my F150. It doesn't take too long but I would recommend you get one of the Haynes type book for your cressida. The reason I say that is because of the method they use to attach the fan clutch to the engine. If you need the special tool to unloosen the large nut, you can get it from a good parts store. They charge you for it but refund the $$ when you bring it back
Heads up because the mane nut is usually a left handed thread
Hope this helpsGood luck
