Car dies when i turn on headlights
Have a load test done on the battery as it sounds like the battery is failing and the extra load from the lights is taking the power from the ignition system and so the coils fall below operating voltage and so no spark. Also alternators need some voltage from the battery to start charging and if there is insufficient voltage from the battery it won't work
1990 camry noise from front end while driving.
If you drive at about 40 on a smooth road, and "weave" left and right. Does the noise get noticeably quieter one way than the other? If it does ,it's a wheel bearing. Easy fix (I'd change both if thats the case)
If the noise doesn't change,it has to be a transmission bushing or final drive noise, not good.
Hope this helps.
94 toyota camry vibration in steering column
Check all your engine mounts, including the dog bone at the top front of the motor. One way is to put it in neutral or park, securely chock the wheels, handbrake on, and have someone rev the motor while you look for excessive movement in the motor itself and its mountings. Also your steering rack mounts while you are at it. This can be done by having someone firmly wind the steering wheel back and forth (ignition key in and on ACC) while you inspect the movement allowed by the rack mounts.
