Hi, if you mean your antenna has a motor to make it go up, you can use the blue wire for that. Does the installation instruction say the red wire is battery or ignition/accessory? Many cars do not have the correct wiring harness for aftermarket head units. This is why you were told to run a wire to the fuse panel. That is the correct way to professionally install a wire that did not come in the harness. There are usually spare slots in the panel. You can even add a fuse, if you want a real pro installation. uou just have to connect to the correct leg of the panel that is for accessory power (which is usually corresponds to the red aftermarket wire).

I am afraid that to remove the panel the door has to be open, but you can try anyways, after removing all visible screws try sliding the panel up, even if other screws are out of reach you might be able to pull panel up far enough to disengage. best luck to you.

are you talking about a blower for the engine or a blower for a/c or heat?

You are going to have a new one, you may still be able to get this from Toyota they are pretty good about keeping old parts on the books but they wont have it in stock this car is almost 30 years old. You might be able to get one from a wrecking yard but even there, because of it's age the hardest part of this is going to be locating a new one. As for changing it, the end that goes into the transmission just unscrews, you may need pliers it's been on there a long time. The end that goes into the speedo will have a clip the you have to press down and then pullout on the cable then the whole thing will pass though a rubber grommet in the firwall

In the late 70's they mandated that the adjustment screws be capped over. If they haven't been exposed, there will be two plugs covering them on the baseplate. Air adjustment screws are always somewhere on the base of all carbs with the only exception being on Holley 4bbl carbs used on performance engines (definitely not yours)

the crankshaft key? after the pulley is off, take dikes (wire cutters) and grip the key at the base, then pry it up. Just like you would if you had a hammer prying up a nail.

remove the exhaust manifold with a 14mm. socket and pull off old gasket, may have to be scraped, install new and torque bolts to 33 FT. LBS......... same with intake manifold but 10mm. and 12 FT. LBS of torque and drain coolant.

i would say try replacing the pcv valve and fuel filters if new carbs do the same thing iwould say cut your losses

i would doubt that they would place ball bearings in the oil galleys

The head bolt torque is 48ft. pounds and the camshaft bolts are 16ft. pounds thats for a 1.5L S.O.H.C motor.
