Try disconnecting both tail lights replace the fuse and see if it blows...if it don't connect one at a time and see what happens...also check you third brake light...

Look for an inline fuse holder in the supply wire for the outlets.

Is the leak brake fluid or gear oil ? It might be a wheel cylinder for the brake leaking. Look for a rubber plug at the bottom of the brake backing plate to access the star wheel to back off the brake shoes to remove the drum.

You likely have a broken or missing bushing... You have to look for loose, polished or even MERELY WORN supports (iron oxide presents as a light brown powder... You will only be able to find your issue with the suspension in "NORMAL" operating position... If you put the vehicle in the air... the weight of the elements will make EVERYTHING "seem" to be nice and tight... Your "thud" is because something is VERY loose... and if it DECIDES to drop off at speed... you (and your WHOLE TACOMA) could be CART- WHEEL TO A MESSY, UGLY & LIKELY very tragic sudden stop... If you cannot IMMEDIATELY spot the trouble... get it on down to an ACCOMPLISHED suspension shop... ALWAYS remember those spring and links are powerful enough to hold up an entire TACOMA So expect a sudden release to have EXPLOSIVE FORCE. (quite dangerous... especially to work on... (opinion)). Have the codes read and replace what has broken. A garage can replace a bad receiver or fix a wire and will work. Everything else has to be programmed. this is a dealer only program.

Well you would also have to turn the steering wheel, so that locking mechanism would have to be hammered out as well. Best to get two sets of keys for this car now.

If the dash light is not coming on when you push the button on the stalk, I am pretty sure it is the spiral cable running down the steering column. There is a Techbical Service Bulletin on this piece. Some are being replaced because they affect the air bags. Check with your dealer to se if your VIN is covered.

Depends if it is vacuum actuated or electronic. Vacuum actuated, check the hose that runs from the manifold to the controller, make sure there is vacuum, electronic: replace the control module on the actuator.

do you have acell phone or other charger plugged in or multiple chargers?? i seen so many that draw way to much and keep blowing fuses. we've run several hot sockets direct from the battery to provide power for such dont forget to fuse it !

First Check the fuses. There are two (or three) that run the radio 1 - holds the settings when truck is off (7.5A Acc) - probably not this one, cuz if it fails, lotsa stuff won't work. 2 - turns radio on when key comes on (10A Radio No1) - Check it with a meter, not your eye, the filaments are very fine. (If you have the JBL system) (30A Radio No2 runs the amp/ subwoofer) If these are both OK, and you're still having trouble, post back, you may need to remove the radio.......

There is a Power Window Relay labeled P/W Relay. Located under the hood, bottom right hand corner of the relay / fuse block. There is a 50A fuse feeding the PW relay. After the relay there are individual fuses for each window. Loss of ground from the Drivers Door window switch bank could also disable the windows. The window switch should ground by your left foot, under the plastic somewhere.

Something in the drive line is loose or has lost a bolt etc and it takes a certain amount of torque to get it vibrating, hence it appears above 35. Closely inspec the driveline to find it.

The air conditioning fan motor is located under the glove box. Three bolts, forget the size, but about an 5 or 6mm (7/32 i rumored to work well). Pull the plug out after you drop the motor.
