Your Corolla doesn't have a timing belt, it has a timing chain and these usually last the life of the car. If your talking about the serpentine that runs most of your engines externals i.e. A/C, alternator and power steering. Just check it every time you change your oil for cracks and such and replace when necessary.

There are 2 places.. The first is directly mounted in the exhaust manifold and the other mounted in the first muffler or catalytic converter.

Go to a toyota dealership and ask them, most of the time they can order one for you. If not you need to call Toyota up and beef with them so they can send you a new one. Most of the time it would be free if it was their mistake, or you may need to pay a small fee.

Does the light come on when you just get off the highway, and into town?

1. Searching for the key all over again starting from the most obvious places to the least.
2. have you got a spare key, locate it and mostly its not remote but you can continue using it till you find the remote key.
3. With the spare you can go to your dealer and get another remote key fixed for the car.

your question does not specify which speed sensor you are looking for. is it for the brakes or the gearbox?

the dealer will mark up the product about 300 times the cost. I'm sorry to tell you. Yes, they will charge that much. An auto parts store would have sold it to you at one third the price. I'm so sorry I could not do that job for you. Would have charged a cup of coffee and the part. the dealership makes the money to stay in business off of the parts and labor, not by selling cars. I know 2 owners of car dealerships here in New Orleans. I won't take my car there to get fixed. Please, next time ask your friends about their mechanic, and then talk to them before any work is done.

Sound like your Speed vehicle sensor went bad and you need to change it with anther one and its Electronic Sensor not cable because cable ones are not used anymore. And the dealership will charge a lot of money while just Mechanic can do this for you. The sens is located on the transmission and it wont take long to replace it . Good luck

Most technicians don't bother removing the clutch and pulley when there is too much noise, and instead replace the entire a/c compressor after removing the refrigerant.
