2007 Toyota Corolla - Problem with front brake

The choice in pads will be totally up to you. The ceramic pads offer extended life, with little to no brake dust, where the metallic pads are just the opposite. I would recommend that you use ceramic pads, you will get your money's worth out of them.

My toyata runs rough at an idle and is useing more

I recommend giving it a major tune up plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor and an air filter.I would do this before doing anything else.If it were a problem with the ignition system or the emission system your check engine light would come on.So try a tune up first so that you give yourself a starting point for future trouble shooting.

The entire car is on a 12 volt system...I think what you need is the amperage. Cig lighters should be on a 20 amp (yellow) fuse but not alway...sometimes it's 15. When you locate the blown fuse, it will indicate what amperage it is imprinted on the fuse in white. If it is not marked for whatever reason, there should be a schematic imprinted somewhere near the fuse panel possibly on the back of the cover. If no schematic, it should be in your operator's manual.

Here are some very common causes for the engine light to com on.

1. Low fluids, make sure all of your fluid levels are where they should be, particularly the oil.

2. MAF, ( mass air flow ) sensor. This controls the fuel/air mix ratio to the engine.

3. Oxygen sensor, there are 2, ( front means before the catalytic converter, back means after the catalytic converter ) The front measure fuel/air mix, the back measure the emmisions from the fuel/air mix and tells the computer what adjustments need to be made to the fuel/air mix ratio.

I hope this helps you.
