How to replace interior dome
1) Remove the key from the ignition. Make sure the doors are closed, so the new bulb does not illuminate when you are installing it. 2) Make sure the dome light switch is turned to the "Off" position. Pry the plastic lens away from the dome light. Use a small, flat-head screwdriver. 3) Push back the side bulb clamp. Pull out the old dome lightbulb. Wipe the area with a paper towel if it is dirty. 4) Wrap the new bulb in a paper towel (oil from your skin will shorten its life). Insert it into the dome lightbulb holder. Push it up gently to secure it. 5) Turn the switch to "On" to test the bulb. Reposition the cover and push up to lock the clips into place. If the bulb doesn't work, you've got a bad switch somewhere, probably on the drivers door.
How do you turn on/off 4 wheel drive
most of them are all wheel drive meaning that they are 4 wheel all the time
,,,but if you have a shift on it, then you can shift it to 4 wheel drive. if you just want it for wet/icy roads though AWD is safer than true 4wd in those conditions. good-day !

How do I change my top-center brake light bulb?
Just open the hatch, locate the middle plastic trim strip on top of the window behind the 3rd light, and gently pull it out from the clips holding it on. I pulled from the top. Be careful not to damage the metal clips or the plastic pieces behind the trim that go into the clips. There is a clip towards the left side and one towards the right.
Locate the bulb holder and twist it a quarter turn counter-clockwise and pull it out. Take out the old bulb, put in the new, reinsert the bulb and holder, twist clockwise.
Line up the clips with the plastic inserts inside the trim strip and push on. You may have to give it a couple of strategic whacks with the bottom of your fist to get everything to snap in tight.
Done!
I need to replace the driver's side headlight
Hi,
To remove the headlamp assy. you need to gain access to the
bolts that are hidden by the front bumper.. you need to pull back the
inner fender well closest to the edge of the front bumper and there is a
10mm bolt going into the bumper you need to remove then you will be
able to pull the edge of the bumper away from the fender you will need
to remove any clips and or bolts around the grill area to give enough
room to pull the bumper cover out of the way enough you need to get your
hand and a wrench or socket into the lower part of the fender there is a
bolt there that holds the headlamp assy. in remove that bolt as well as
the other bolts on the top of the core support and then you will be
able to move/wiggle headlamp out enough and disconnect the wiring and
remove the assembly be careful not to scratch the fender or bumper
cover.. you may want to put some masking tape on the fender and bumper
cover so as not to scratch during removal.
Let me know,if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
How do you flush the transmission fluid?
Unless you want problems or believe other
repair shops & advice you may get on this site
DO NOT FLUSH ANY TRANS
Just remove the pan, clean, change filter if
that applies.
If you have not changed the trans fluid on ALL
your vehicles, every 30,000 miles, power steering
at same time, you will surely be in for trans failures,
somewhere in your lifetime
If you flush an old trans, they can even slip, when they
didn't before
I once owned a trans shop & have no problem
being honest, where others aren't so inclined to
educate folks
I have a 2006 highlander
It sounds like the dealer is right. It is a newer car and that should be something covered under the warranty.
REQD MAINT LIGHT IS ON
Hello
The Maintence light is on because you are due for a oil change or was not reset at the last service if you have just had a oil change then you can reset it by pushing your trip butten to trip a and turn the ignition to the off position press and hold the trip button turn the ignition to the run position while still holding the trip button for about 10 seconds the light will then go out if it does it is then reset
Good luck
Chris
I have a 2006 toyota
Automatic transmission today take a variety of fluids, not all the same. You need to look in your owners manual, if you don't have one a dealer will sell you the correct fluid. If the tranny is leaking I would have it fixed ASAP as just refilling it with fluid is not going to fix anything and could completely blow the tranny up. Don't be penny wise and pound foolish.
