Temp gauge/Tach gauge question

Make sure your battery is charged fully and the terminals are very clean. Get a free stress test at a parts store. If you have a charger, connect it up and see if that solves the problem. Voltage levels that might allow the car to start and run fine may be low enough to cause electronics problems with radios, gauges and locking mechanisms.

Rear brakes on a 2006 Camry offer 2 configurations. I have the one with a single bolt on the bottom and a pin on the top. Please help me understand how to get this off ?

you are probably trying to get the callipers of by not removing the correct bolts calliper mount bolts are 2 studs that hold the calliper frame onto the axle and by undoing these bolts the calliper assembly can be lifted off the rotor within the length of the brake hose

Toyota code c1301

C1301 Toyota Possible Solution:

The firing order is an important part of the overall design of the engine and is determined during the design of the engine to eliminate as much engine vibration as possible. If the firing order is changed or adjusted, the ignition from the spark plug is delivered at the wrong time and the engine functions poorly or does not run. The firing order for a particular engine is typically found in the repair manual specific to that model.

My car sounds like a jet taking off the faster I go

If it sounds like a jet taking off then it's most likely some rush of air so where/how does air under pressure come from? Well, it comes from your exhaust but you said that's been replaced. Could be a cylinder head gasket in a engine but you would have felt a lose of power if that was the problem. Is it a bearing that just sounds like an air sound? As I've suggested with other people...have someone follow you, then pull up along side of you on both sides and see if they can hear/isolate where the sound is coming from. Sometimes when you're driving it's hard to hear exactly where the sound is coming from because well....you're driving! So having two people in another car riding along side of you on the highway or unpopulated back road can hear it better. Just remember to do it safely...you are on the road after all but if you hear it at 40...you should be able to hear it loud and clear at 55 or 65 or whatever the speed limit is. Going too slow on the highway is dangerous too so obey the speed limits.

Replace key for 2006 Camry. Do I have to go through a dealer?

the best thing is to go to your local toyota dealship! Have your Vin # ( on the lower right hand corner of the windsheild looking from the front of the car). Make sure that you write all the nimbers and letters correctly. They will either order you a new key and key pad or they will have one on site and make it work for your car!!
