Hii have a Toyota Avanza 1.5 sx. been driving it since 2007 without problemsearly this year the reve started mulfunctioning. it goes up and down in an idle mode. when it started it was cutting power as i stop.took it to Toyota dealer 3x they could not identify the problem. its now better and like in the morn8ing when i start it it goes to 3000 revers and after a while drops down to 1000rerves. this problem is still happening like once in two days or once everyday of idling up and downplease help

Brake Pads Removal & Installation Front To Remove:

1. Remove the front wheels. Front brake caliper (exploded view)
   
   
2. Loosen the caliper bleeder.
3. Hold the slide pin; remove the 2 mounting bolts and remove the brake caliper from the support.
4. Support the caliper.
5. Open the brake bleeder. Press the caliper piston into the bore.
6. Close the bleeder after the piston has reached the bottom of the caliper bore.
7. Remove the brake pads, support plates, wear indicators and anti squeal shims.
8. Remove the slide pins and bushings from the caliper support.

To Install:

1. Lubricate the slide pins and bushings with brake grease.
2. Install the bushing on the slide pin.
3. Install the slide pin on the caliper support.
4. Install the brake pad support plates on the caliper supports.
5. Lubricate the anti squeal shims with brake grease.
6. Install the anti squeal shims on the brake pads.
7. Install the pad wear indicator facing upward and install the pads on the caliper support.
8. Install the caliper on the support.
9. Install the 2 mounting bolts, hold the slide pins and tighten 25 ft-lb (34 Nm).
10. Fill the reservoir and bleed the brakes.
11. Install the front wheels.

Rear To Remove:

1. Remove the rear wheels.
2. Loosen the caliper bleeder. Rear brake caliper (exploded view)
   
   
3. Hold the slide pin; remove the 2 mounting bolts and rear brake caliper assembly from the support.
4. Support the caliper.
5. Open the brake bleeder. Press the caliper piston into the bore.
6. Close the bleeder after the piston has reached the bottom of the caliper bore.
7. Remove the brake pads, support plates, and anti squeal shims.
8. Remove the slide pins from the caliper support.

To Install:

1. Lubricate the slide pins with brake grease.
2. Install the slide pin on the caliper support.
3. Install the brake pad support plates on the caliper supports.
4. Lubricate the anti squeal shims with brake grease.
5. Install the anti squeal shims on the brake pads.
6. Install the rear pads on the caliper support.
7. Install the rear caliper on the support.
8. Install the 2 mounting bolts, hold the slide pins and tighten 25 ft-lb (34 Nm).
9. Fill the reservoir and bleed the brakes.
10. Install the front wheels.

A diagnostic scanner is best here, someone may have the exact answer but it'll be Luck 99/100 if you get the correct answer.This ic commonfkrbon board or factory installed anti-theft or security systems. A few quick questions: 1.) Have you changed or disconnected the battery for any reason? 2.) Have you had any issues with the vehicle "turning off" or just "dying" in the road randomly while e ererythibg else seems Well ? +If you have more than one key please try it, try both keys each way? +Also unhook your negative [(-) or (black)] battery cable and learn it disconnected for about 25-30 minutes just to be safe. +It may be time for a battery, get yours checked at any local autobparts store, have alternator, starter, & ODD2 System Cecked while you're they're- it's all free & may take 10 extra minutes. Unfortunately you can't get these to go out until the issue causing them to come on is addressed. I'll trll you how to find out! You'll certainly need to check it out further(or have it checked further by someone who is a professional- that doesn't always mean someone doing it for a living in s garage either as I no longer do but did for many years and still do it all regarding my vehicles and equipment along with everyone's that I know. I didn't mean to get off track but that's something to think about, people like me will save you big bucks $$$, mechanically friends are useful. Thus "Professional" will need a diagnostic scanner, a good one, the parts stores can likely help with engine light, but a more specialized diagnostic scanner will probably be necessary for your second issue. This is likely to be found at a well Equipped local garage or repair shop, and of course the dealer will have this if no one else does. Ask friends and family, co-workers, or whoever you trust if they know a professional technician and perhaps they'll know someone capable or at least have a few good suggestions. Look in the local business pages or online reviews for local shops, a Toyota or Imported Car Specialist would be a huge plus but not absolutely necessary. You most likely need to enter your radio security code. The original owner was given this code and instructions to use it when the car was delivered new. Otherwise see the dealer.

You need to remove the bumper outer shell from the backing of crumple pad, but doubt that it will say popped out
