Check the user manual for trailer weight limitations. If the vehicle is not equipped with a heavy duty trailer package the transmission may also have overheated during the grade. are the vvts interchangable from your old engine to new or with wiring diagram can find out why the extra wire i think 1 is for the ecm signal and 2 is for reference and 3 is a ground but not sure you need diagram or replace the head assmbly with old to new its a last hope but check for interchange first

have you had the OBD codes read ? if not could well be code(s) P0440 P0441 P0442 P0443 P0446 and a few others ,these refer to the Evaperation control system , one easy thing to try is make sure the gas tank cap is securely tightened turning so a couple of clicks are heard , this may cure the light coming on if not will need the codes reading and further investigation keep me updated if you wish

You need to replace the bearing / hub assembly . The play in the bearing and hub is what is making the noise . Unaddressed ( not repaired) can cause you to loose control of the truck and even roll over if if you loose the whole wheel and hub assembly.

Your ignition is probable locked up you could replace ignition by removing steering wheel.
