Removing_Dash 106
Hello, this is a French Peugeot, you might have to remove the dash. A lot of auto/trucks the heading and air conditioner units are just one component. Remove the hose from the engine fire wall under hood that is if your car engine is located in the front of the car. On the fire wall you'l see some studs sticking out with nuts of them around the internial heading/AC unit. Dis count the hoses (water) I don't now how the air condition line are connected, some are slip joint, some are spring loaded and the use nuts/ferals.Just take you time and make mental and some diagrams where all these part go.If you auto is using R12 freon then it will have to be recovered. If it is R134A or 410 just expell it to the atmosphere.I wish you luck, GB...stewbison

Hello, Who installed the clutch"? Were there a new pressure plate installed?
Were there a new throw out bearing installed. Does this 1991 Peugeot 405 have
hydraulic or mechanical clutch linkage?
There a couple of reason why the Peugeot wont move and engine is running and
the transmission is in gear.
1.. Pressure plate is installed backwards.--Remove transmission and reinstall
pressure plate in the correct orientation to the clutch. There is two ways to
install it, but one way correctly.
2. Adjustment for the clutch linkage from the pedal in the driver compartment
is adjusted to tight and not releasing the clutch to where the clutch pressure
is on the pressure plate.
I hope this helps. GB....stewbison
