Peugeot 406 autobox slip, car doesn't move

First thing to check is to see if you have the correct amount of transmission fluid, which is checked with the engine running, then of course is the possibility that you need a new transmisson, or have your old one rebuilt. You could try to change the transmission filter, but usually by the time your transmission does what you describe, a filter won't help.

405 dieasel

Your vehicle will pressurize to approx. 13 LBS. More than that pressure is indicitive of air trapped in coolant system which will require expelling any air in system so that coolant can flow freely. If system continues to over pressurize then it is possible that thermostat is staying closed or engine compression is getting into water jackets. Hope this was of some help to you. Good luck.

Heaters only work on number 4

I am assuming that you are referring to the internal fan? If this only works on the highest speed then the problem is with the fan speed resistor. This sits under the dash in the air ducting. It is just after the fan. Replace it and all should be good!

Citroen xantia 1997 with aircon. is it possible to

Hi, yes this should be fine, all you need to make sure is that the belt is driving the pulleys all the same way round, alot of people do this and as its only the air con it wont make any difference to how the car drives, just make sure you write down the way the belt turns the pulleys then run the new pulley the same way but bypassing the ac, then as long as they all turn the same way you will have no problems what so ever.

let me know if you need further assistance ok

Plus if you ask at the car spares shop they may do a belt for your car for a model without ac the engine will be exactly the same its just the belt will be shorter so try asking for that before you try matching belts up
