When
Key battery replaced. If buttons operated repeatedly while vehicle out of range and system becomes inoperative.

Switch ignition ON. Press and hold lock button Fig. 1 [1] for 10 seconds. Switch ignition OFF. Remove key from ignition switch. Wait 5 seconds. Synchronization procedure complete. Confirm synchronization has been successful by locking, double locking and unlocking vehicle. Repeat above procedure to synchronize any remaining keys.

There are a million answers to this. Below is the offical table. However it depends if the car has been serviced correctly in the log book. I suggest checking there first or ringing the garage that has stamped the service log book. If you are not the original owner you can still ring to ask. yes their is no other makes catagory ,right iam not sure if this will work but i reset one yesterday on 2005 model and i held the trip meter button down and then turned to aux position then waited 30 secs then turned key to ignition position ,waited 30 secs then turned ignition off and then started engine and it went out ,but for how long?? i dont know as the owner has taken the vehicle

1. horn fuse
2. horn relay
3. horn circuit (you will need tester)
4. horn itself (remove it from car and connect to 12V DC)

The only way to reset is to leave the power on for as long as required! The 2 hours is an estimate, depending on how many times you entered a wrong code will change the length of time to wait! Power it up and keep checking!

Possible that the contacts on the remote unit is faulty and so needs a cleaning so as to give a clear contact for voltage from the battery.If you have not reveresed the battery this can be only a contact issue or low voltage on the battery. If not there is fault in the board. need to check for the supply voltage to the circuit.
