You might need to clean the sensors due to collect Alot of dirt off the road the sensors. Are located behind the brake discs and rear drums u might have to clean them all and if that don\'t work get them reset.

Fiat Palio 1.2 , Break lights problem 1. checked the fuse - ok 2. checked the bulbs - ok 3. change the break switch - ok what can be the problem ?

i am driving a fiat palio 1.2 , the break lights on it does not work, what i have done i have check the fuse, it was ok the , check the bulbs they were ok and then change the break switch , still they are not working . just want to know what could be the problem ?

you will need to get a computer put on it to determine the fault.

its at the back of the engine and its a bit of a whatsit to get too

hard to tell without hearing it.. but it sounds like it could probably be the gearbox

you will need to change the transponder reader too thats under the dash in a awkard in accesable position which will involve removing the dash ,best advice i can offer is to call a local auto locksmith who can re-programme the the wjhole lot for you on this older vehicle

First I would check to make sure you have the proper fuel pressure at the pump - you should have 2 pumps - one that delivers from the tank, and a high pressure pump for the injectors. Make sure that both are delivering properly - you may need to prime the pumps for quite some time if air got into the lines. Also make sure the cam / crank sensors wiring has no corrosion and is making proper contact. Between 0 to 300/400rpm the signal can be slightly erratic until the engine is started so I would not worry too much about that.

Blend door may be stuck or heater core is clogged .

It might be your tire pressure monitoring system. Try checking your tire pressures.

Check the fan belt, if it is warn it is likely the problem.

1. Disconnect the battery from car terminals.
2. Remove the alternator drive serpentine belt.

3. Disconnect electrical connection wires of the alternator.
4. Remove the alternator fixation bolts.
5. Remove the alternator out from the engine.
6. Install all in reverse order of the alternator removal.

Check for the thermostat to be defective in not recognising the temperature to switch on the fan. alternatively check the fan, the fan relay for the action. If not the relay is not switched on by the thermostat.

could be anything from a blocked pick up pipe to electrical problem ,you will have to return it to a fiat dealer if its a europeon market model because it will have encrypted software rendering reading the codes impossible via the OBDII ,unless its an american market version then you can read the codes .This vehicle is common rail fuel injection and as such its all computer controlled

check all connectors, fuse and check smo hose and pipe for clogging(air&fuel lines)

its a dodgy sensor ---but what one?? i would go for the autochoke one first but i have no idea what one it is ,now ask me about a seat 124 or a seat 1500 ,same as fiat but made here in spain
