Notchy gear change on my daewoo lanos
Hi GJ, If the box is auto check the oil level in the box. You should do that with the park brake fully employed and the engine at idle speed with the selector in neutral. If the box is manual check the clutch adjustment, it should take about two and a half inches up from the floor. If the notchy change is only on one gear you may have a synchromesh cone problem and that means a box rebuild. Regards John
Hi the idle speed is to high on my daewoo lanos
there is a screw at the end of the throttle cable. get someone to rev the engine an your see it move.turn the screw anticlockwise and the idle should slow. clockwise will raise the idle speed.
Heater does not work at all
check radiator fluid is full the heater operates buy the radiator fluid flowing through the heater core. next your thermostat might be stuck in the open position thus your radiator fluid not heating up on cold days - no hot radiator fluid no heat. if fan is not coming on check fuse first if fuse is good check heater fan motor

The Code 13 refers to the camshaft position sensor and should be fixed ASAP since it can cause the engine to shut down without warning, You can replace the unit in under thirty minutes. Plan on paying about $50 for the part on eBay or Amazon.The replacement should clear up the P0044 HO2S Heater Control Circuit High (Bank 1 Sensor 3) reading.All the best,
