If the Anti pollution warning light is coming on the possible causes are endless. If the car is driving ok then that is a good sign, but please remember that modern management systems can mask problems quite well. The safest advice is to get it looked at and see what fault codes are appearing and then a diagnosis can begin, as leaving it is not going to be a good thing, it can go from a minor problem to more serious issues. At least the light is not flashing, which usually means an emission compliance problem and even more serious, but even so I would advise protecting your vehicle by getting it checked out as soon as possible to avoid potential damage.

A fault in the ignition can cause an engine misfire and unburnt fuel gets into the exhaust causing the anti-pollution light to be triggered.

On the right hand stalk press one of the two buttons on the end until CHange Oil appears on the dash. Hold one of the buttons in, the dash message screen will flash and after a few seconds it will disappear

yes somewhere is a dodgy earth on the back light cluster ,either one side or both ,renew the earth and oil the bulbs with engine oil to prevent corrosion ,also make sure the correct bulbs are in the holders look on bottom of bulb and inside the holder ,be surprised how many bar room mecahnics their are and the more they drink the more they know ---

its a renault ,what else do you expect ??renault electrics are a dealewr only job encrypted software

spring easily put back-BUT sounds like the STRUT/SHOCK on that side needs to be replaced as it traveled too far and allowed spring to slide out

I have a Nissan Kubistar which I understand is the same vehicle as Renault Kangoo.
The key fob works perfectly well most of the time then everyone once and while, the key no longer unlocks the vehicle and then the indicators don't work. After some time, the key works again as do the indicators etc.
I have replaced the battery in the key fob but it doesn't seem to have made any difference.
Any suggestions??

use a scew driver to crack the old hard rubber.

You need a set of "spark plug wire pliers" that grip around the boot and then remove it with a twisting and pulling motion. Worst case scenario is you ruin the wire attached to the spark plug. Then you get a new set of plug wires to install (which is usually a good idea after a few years anyway). To prevent this in the future, smear silicone grease inside the spark plug boot or on the spark plug before you push the wire back on the spark plug.

unfortunatly theses cant bet reset, they hold the immobiliser code so you can see the security issues on resetting these, new unit from renault. the only other way would be to find a written off car the same as yours and swop the lot over, keycards, uch, steering column lock and injection computer.

The fuse is in the fuse box in the car, the hand book should tell you which fuse it is. If the fuse is OK, there is a switch on the front or top of the gearbox, should have two wires going to it. Could have come unplugged, if you bridge these wires and turn the ignition on, the reverse lights should come on, if they do, it's a faulty switch.

On the side of your transmission will be a switch with several wires coming out of it. This is your reverse switch that turns on your reverse lights and most likely needs to be replaced

check that plug to rear light is making good contact by putting lights on and pulling on connector

have the fault codes read to check for fault . If none show use the code reader to reset the CPU.
