Petrol filler flap stuck in locked position

Sounds like the solenoid is defective, but the petrol cap can be opened by opening the boot and putting your hand down the side of the back panel (petrol cap side). You should be able to feel the solenoid and on the back there is a lever that can be pulled out which will release the petrol cap latch.

Most common fault is a crack right where the high pressure fuel hose mates the injector, or where the hose mates the injector rail. Look for black stains at those points. should you find a leak, disassemble fuel hoses with care. They remain at a very high pressure even when the engine is turned off.

My diesel auto Megane has trouble with getting

Hi.

Transmission problems of this kind often are not detected at MOT. MOT test will check only security prescriptions.

The first thing to do is replacing the transmission fluid. Metal debris accumulating in transmission fluid can cause similar problems.

The automatic transmission uses throttle position sensor, and throttle pedal sensor to determine position and opening of throttle.
IF throttle position sensor is defective, the car may have problems shifting into one or more gears.

The automatic transmission is controlled by an electronic control module, that is energizing a set of solenoids to shift into gears.
The control module is a rectangular box, often located behind the dash and wired to transmission. The solenoids are attached to valve body, inside transmission.

If a solenoid is defective, or if control module is defective, the car may have problems shifting into one or more gears.

Problems concerning transmission control module, TPS and transmission solenoid are usually detectable reading fault codes stored on the car main control module (ECU/ECM).

Stored codes can be retrieved using an OBD scan reader.
If the car auto transmission is not shifting into gear, talk to the mechanic about the problem.
Only when the car has a really high mileage, or when there is a factory problem there is need to replace the gearbox.

Regards.

Cant find brake swicth for lights on renault

It will be located right above your brake pedal and will be touching the arm of the pedal. This switch may be located on the firewall side, where by pushing the pedal pushes the switch in. Or it could located on the dash side, where by pushing the pedal in allows the switch to pop out.

It does sound like engine mount , if you open the bonnet and get someone to lift the cluch while the handbrake is on, then whilst looking at the engine it should apear jump up on whatever side the mount is broken on. Try this in reverse and 1st gear try to avoid stalling the car and once you have confermed the fault avoid contiually jumping the engine as it can damage other engine mounts/parts.

2002 ford windstar misfire!!!

Hello

Check your ignition components, spark plugs, wires, if they are in good shape. Check with Ford technical service bulletins. There is a TSB for the upper intake plenum gaskets leaking when engine is cold. The TSB also has a reflash for the Engine Control Module.. I tried just doing the upper intake gaskets and so far so good. The reflash (reprogram your original computer) has to be done at the dealer. Hope this helps..

My renault does not start( Management light)

big problems ,firstly its a renault which means problems with anything electric and factory immobilisor.Secondly encrypted software so i can honestly say that no doubt the fault is with one of the early type of ECU computers and unless you rewired the whole electronic system which i have done on a clio that went like this ,then its dealer only and pay through the nose,or trade the vehicle on plan new for old and get yourself 2000€ for it against a new vehicle
