hi, i checked alldata, hyundai calls it a fuel shut off solenoid, i don't know what it does exactly, meaning, if it stays open normally, and in an accident it shuts off upon impact, or if it can be reset, or have to be replaced. i would try to disconnect, then reconnect. if that doesn't work, maybe you would have to replace. but check all of the fuses also, maybe theres one that controls another part of the systems that would not be labeled fuel pump or relay. it's even possible to have a bad fuel pump relay due to the accident, it could have jarred the relay inoperable, heres a pic of the fuel cut off/shut off solenoid, you may have to enlarge, hope it helps!

You will need to remove your seat in the back of the car. The pump is under the drivers side rear back seat. You will have to remove the floor cover. You should see a panel. remove panel on floor and you will see the top of the fuel pump. There may be a lock ring holding it in which you would move counter clockwise and then the pump should come oute63c077.jpg

Yes. Usually there is a reset switch on the immobilizer. It pops up when it is triggered, just push it back in and it will click and you should be ok. They are usually located on the firewall inside the car on the drivers or passengers side.

When I turn the fan on the blower motor relay clicks but nothing else happens. Any idea if it is the relay or maybe the blower motor switch?

Repair hyundai Santa Fe Retractable Cargo Cover

Repair hyundai Santa Fe Retractable Cargo Cover

My answer is based on a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe. I needed a vise grip to use for some fine pulling and a little bit of hammering, and a 1/8 drill bit (no drill required). These cargo covers are not riveted, there is just a little hollow metal tube about 1 inch long and 1/8 in wide.

So roll the cover up to make it more convenient. Use the 1/8 drill bit to push the metal pins (see pic) and just push the pins out at either end.

Once the pins are out, slide the plastic covers off. They come off with little to no resistance. There is an aluminum rod with three foam pieces on one end to make rolling smooth, and the other end has a long spring with one end attached to the rod and the other end connects to these little white circle plastic discs that hold the other end of the spring. More than likely the plastic failed, as was my case.Holding a metal spring taut with a plastic isn't the best idea but it saved a few pennies off the MSRP so be it. Since these discs were used on both ends, just switch the plastic discs and installation is truly the reverse of the removal. The car is 10 yrs old now so I figure I won't be the owner of it when this piece fails again.

The only difficulty I encountered was a rubber covering on the shaft under the spring that bunched up. I had to pull the spring partially off the shaft and cut some bunched off rubber off.

which fuse runs speedometer for hyundae santa fe

which fuse goes to

Answer

The fuse for the instruments also powers the speedometer as well as the other instruments. If your speedo only is not working, it may be a bad VSS (vehicle speed sensor) on the transmission or the speedometer itself may be defective.
