Air/C, blows hot air on drivers and cold air on passenger side?

The vent actuator my need to be reset, this can be done by removing the HVAC fuse from the fuse panel for 5 min or disconnecting the battery. If the vent actuator does not correct it self, then it's most like going to have to be replace due to internal parts have broke in the actuator.
Thank you for using fixya and it's common for the vent actuators to go bad after a few years, the internal parts are made of plastic and get brittle after time.

Check engine light is going on and off every few

You need to scan for codes to determine what is wrong. Even if the check engine light is not on, the Hummer's computer has stored whatever code(s) were thrown to cause it to illuminate. The only explanation for the key being stuck in the ignition on uneven surface would be if the steering wheel needed to be turned slightly to relieve pressure to completely turn the key to off to remove it. This would not be related to your apparent emissions problems in any way as far as I know. Most major parts stores will scan for codes for free, you need that info to proceed.

My 2004 Hummer h2 will lose power in one day,

Hello. Begin by changing your fuel filter. Then have your vehicle computer scanned. If you have an AAMCO repair shop nearby they offer the scan as a free service. The starter would not cause it to lose power but a failing fuel pump or sensor would. The scan should pinpoint the problem. Regards, Joe

My 2004 Hummer H2 Heat

If you have automatic hvac system (heat ventilation air conditioning), it is possible that one of the heat door actuators is malfunctioning or "sticking" causing cold air on at any temp lower then 90. Also on the automatic hvac systems there is a hvac module controlling air flow, temp and a/c run time, should be able to communicate with it on scan tool to see sensor readings and mode door actuation a/c request, etc. As well with many vehicles using defrost setting will automatically turn on the a/c, but if the temp is set to warm it should be warm, dry air coming from the vents, the a/c will dry the incoming air to defrost the window faster. Could be heat door malfunction or module or the head unit. Hard to say without actually knowing what the exact set up is. With the 4wd light is it is electronic (push button) and the light comes on sometimes then there is a problem at that time, if it comes and goes the problem is interrmittant and the 4wd module (computer) should store history codes to relay what was causing the fault. Also the 4wd shift motors (electric) on the transfer case on many GMs have problems with corrosion splitting the motor case open (in my location anyway), also they can "stick" and cause problems with shifting in and out of 4wd. As well the automatic 4wd on the electronic versions can have problems with the clutches in the transfer case when used all the time (slipping and burning) but this would most likely not set the light in the dash to come on. Hope this will help with the problem. any more info you have about the specific problems (i.e. types of systems, conditions when it occurs, dual climate control, etc) would help. cheers

Diagnostic Information on DTC P0894 and P1870 #02-07-30-001A - (02/11/2004)

Diagnostic Information on DTC P0894 and P1870
2000-2004 Passenger Cars and Light Duty Trucks
2003-2004 HUMMER H2 with 4L60-E or 4L65-E Automatic Transmission

This bulletin is being revised to include additional model years and additional diagnostic information. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 02-07-30-001 (Section 07 -- Transmission/Transaxle).
Diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) P0894 and P1870, Transmission Component Slipping, may have different root causes. The following diagnostic tips are provided to assist in accurately repairing the condition.

Corporate Bulletin Number 01-07-30-023A, dated November 2001, is intended for 1996-1999 vehicles with more than 32,000 km (20,000 mi). This bulletin addresses wear in the valve body TCC isolator/regulator bore, which can cause DTC P1870. This wear condition is not the cause of DTC P0894 or P1870 on any 2000 model year vehicle built after January 15, 2000, or any 2001 or newer vehicles as the valve body used on these vehicles has been revised to prevent the wear condition.
Corporate Bulletin Number 99-07-30-005, dated March 1999, should be used to help with diagnosis of these DTC's. This bulletin will help to determine if the DTC is caused by the TCC system or by a slipping internal transmission component such as a clutch or band.

Slip speeds greater than about 250 rpm at steady state driving are caused by a slipping clutch or band.

Slip speeds below 250 rpm at steady state driving are usually caused by the TCC not applying but may also be caused by a slipping clutch or band.

A plugged or restricted TCC apply fluid orifice (238, located in the pump) may cause DTC P0894 or P1870, especially in low mileage vehicles with less than 8,000 km (5,000 mi).

A converter clutch valve (224, located in the pump), which does not have full travel of 13 mm (0.5 in) or is stuck in the off position may cause DTC P0894 or P1870. Inspect the valve for chips, debris, nicks or burrs.

Also, inspect the springs (225 and 226) to make sure they are not limiting valve travel. A spring that is not fully wound may catch in the bore, limit valve travel and cause DTC P0894 or P1870.

A cracked or leaking TCC solenoid (part of harness 66) may cause DTC P0894 or P1870. Use solenoid test kit J 44246 to test the operation of this solenoid.

A cracked or leaking TCC PWM solenoid (396) may also cause DTC P0894 or P1870.

When attempting to diagnose a DTC P0894 or P1870, it is important to also refer to the appropriate Service Manual for further possible causes of this condition.

No band aids there. Rebuild or replace it and be done with it.

Comments from other users about this subjetc:
Trans. Shop #1 thinks they got it fixed. It was a bad sensor that turns on TCC. $50.00 sensor was much better than $1400.00 rebuild. Need some highway time before I'm really comfortable that it's fixed.
END QUOTE.

Hope helps.

2003 wont disengage from 4wheel drive

Try this: shift into neutral, wait a few seconds, then try to disengage. If it doesn't work, try again, but turn vehicle off after shifting into neutral, wait about 15 seconds, hopefully that will do it.

Air compressor keeps running what may cause that

it is possible that a leak has occured or that a sensor has come loose indicating to the compressor module that the air bag still needs to be inflated. proceed underneath to each bag and lines and listen. if no leaks are heard then look for arm near the axle that mayhave come loose also sensors on the bags themselves.
