Fuel Filter
Removal & Installation
To Remove:
- Place the vehicle on a lift.
- Release the fuel system pressure.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel filter
CAUTION
Some residual fuel will remain in the fuel filter after disconnecting the fuel tubes. Carefully drain the remaining fuel into a suitable container.
- Remove the fuel filter.
To Install:
- Install the filter in the bracket clamp.
- Connect the fuel lines to the filter.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
- Pressurize the fuel system and inspect for leaks.
Park assist works intermittent
Sounds like a bad ground. Check all of the ground wires where they fasten to the body. One of them may be loose or broken.
Seat heater
some seat heaters have thermostats-could be a bad thermostat and finally it burned out. also check your fuses first

FIxing a leak between the fuel tank and the fuel
your best bet is to replace the fuel filler neck. the entire fuel system is a calibrated emissions system, meaning any changes to the specific setup may set a check engine light. you should be able to purchase a new fuel filler tube at your local dealer, not sure if parts stores carry those kind of parts. but you can try them too.
