Good evening, I have eight

you have a sensor attached to the air spring that is probably either not attached properly or is hanging up in the open position-they also have o rings that can and do leak, which is a very common problem. While you do not have a air ride light yet, catch this issue early or you will be replacing the compressor, which is very expensive. There is also the possibility that your air spring on that side has developed tiny cracks that are causing a leak in the bladder and the only cure for that will be replacing it-the life of those bags is about 8 to 10 years, so you should not (yet) have this as an issue, but I thought I'd throw that in as a possibility since the can go bad.

I have a 2004 Lincoln

Hi, fuse 11 in the box under the hood powers the relay coils for both the A/C clutch and the compressor, so this is the likely culprit.

2004 Lincoln navigator engine light stays on

If you have a simple scanner, you can diagnose this right away. If not, your 'nice guy' auto parts store can diagnose for you for free, just buy the part from him. You most likely have a sensor problem.

I have a 2004 4wd

It has a double timing chain, labor is about 27 hrs. + parts. For the dealer this sounds about right..

You may find a good reputable auto repair shop to do the job for half the price? (If this is the problem)? I think dealers charge 60-80 dollars an hour compere to a small shop 30 dollars an hour, Not as much over head !! Hope this was some help to you?

Skipping while driving

Have you changed the spark plugs every 3 years or
not over 60,000 miles?

Have you changed the front ( 2) O2 Sensors at 100,000
miles, the ones closest to the engine?

Have you Cleaned the MAF Sensor once or twice a year?

Replaced the Air Filter & Fuel Filter--every 3 years?

Do you have an OBD light on dash & a misfire code stored?

The right low beam HID

You can start troubleshooting the problem by checking fuses, but usually the VSM (vehicle security module) will be the problem....it is located under the dash panel right hand side

Good luck and hope this will FixYa.

I have a 2000 Lincoln

Between the rear axle and the body you should see a plastic arm that connects between them. If the arm breaks it will allow air to bleed from the rear airbags and keep the compressor running.

-2004 Lincoln Navigator 93K miles. -Driver's

Did you got the window motor checked, the motor is the part which gets command from the switch to move the window up and down.If the motor is weak, then it will just make the clicking noise but it will not let the window to operate. With the help of meter, check the 12 volts at the window switch and motor.Switch is replaced, but still get the voltage checked. Also check the ground connection to switch and motor. If any of the ground connection is short or got loose, then it will not function. ----------- To get the window up manually there is no easy way, but yes you can slide the window glass up manually and then from lower side block the glass from getting down.To do this you will have to open the door from inside, then push the door glass towards upside and then give support to glass from low side, and it will get closed, temporarily, till you get the fault repaired.------- To disassemble the door panel and to repair motor and test window motor, click the link below:--
http://technoanswers.blogspot.com/2011/06/2004-lincoln-navigator-door-panel.html ------------ This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.

I had my front bumper

The A/C condenser is mounted right behind the bumper so, unless the painter covered the condenser or removed the bumper before spraying it, he painted the condenser as well. This is bad because the condenser must have air flow through it in order for the A/C to work properly. Try to have a look at the condenser, it looks like a smaller radiator mounted in front of the radiator and behind the grill / bumper. If it is painted, go back to the paint shop and demand it to be replaced. Also, have the radiator checked to be sure it isn't painted because that'll run into engine overheating issues.

Driver seat wont move up

Hi, your driver's seat is operated by a seat module computer, not just a fuse/relay, you can however check the fuses for this module, they are located in passenger footwell(right kickpanel) behind cover. Locations 3 and 109 (7.5amp and 30amp).mechxd_7.gif

Shifter broken

Ok shifty, did u look at the piece that came off carefully, I would think there is a small set screw that is supposed to hold it in place. It probably loosened up, allowing u to rip it off with your wild shifting technique. So look also where it came off, to see if u can spot a point where something was holding the 2 together. I think it's just a matter of tightening a loose set screw. Check the floor and between seats for a very small set screw, although it probably is stll in the handle that popped off.
