04 Lincoln Navigator Air suspension hose got
There are scanners which have a function to diagnose the air-ride system. It will take a more expensive scanner that has this function to do the job. Since some electrical shops charge by the hour, a scanner pin pointing the problem in minutes will save you money. Replacing the correct part will also save money instead of financing trial and error parts buying.
Some of the system is activated by the opening and closing of your doors. Parking slope also activates the system to level. The master dump valve for maintaining pressure is located around the bottom front of the front wheel well.
While the air system is expensive, overall replacing one component is a lesser expense. If you did not have air ride the vehicle would handle differently. You get what you pay for and maintenance is a cost other people do not pay with plain steel springs.
Take your vehicle to someone who has a compatible scanner to read your air ride.

The four wheel air suspension system is comprised of the following components:
- service switch
- control module
- two front height sensors
- one rear height sensor

Visual Inspection Chart
Mechanical
Electrical
- Restricted suspension movement
- Excessive vehicle load
- Cut, severed, crimped air line(s)
- Unmounted height sensor(s)
- Damaged front air spring(s)
- Damaged rear air spring(s)
- Battery junction box (BJB) fuses 20 (30A), fuse 27 (5A), and fuse 111 (50A)
- Loose, corroded, or disconnected connectors
- Air suspension service switch is in the OFF position
- Damaged solenoid valve(s)
- If the inspection reveals an obvious concern that can be readily repaired, correct the concern before continuing with Inspection and Verification.
- If the concern remains after the inspection, use the scan tool connected to the data link connector (DLC) to retrieve continuous diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and to execute On-Demand Self-Test diagnostics for the 4WAS module.
- If the On-Demand Self-Test is passed and no DTCs are retrieved, GO to Symptom Chart to continue diagnostics.
- If DTCs are retrieved, go to the 4WAS Module Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Index in this section.
- If the 4WAS module cannot be accessed by the scan tool, Go To Pinpoint Test A .

I have a 04 Lincoln
Navigator the air suspension
typical dealers response
indicates that there is a faulty non-return valve in the system that is passing air when sitting and allow air in and out when compressing
I would start by checking the valves at the discharge line at the compressor, working to the air reservoir valves then onto ride height control valves finishing with holes in the air suspension bags them selves
yes it work doing the checking but there is no real expense until you find the faulty part and I am sure that it will be less than the quote

2004 Navigator 5.4l dohc passenger side lifter tap.
Are you absolutely certain the noise is lifter tap and not an exhaust leak? These are pretty well known for breaking exhaust manifold studs, or even cracking exhaust manifolds. The noise will be present on a cold engine but might go away as the engine heats up and the manifold expands. Maybe that's why it seems to go away after adding additives or changing the oil. It gets just enough heat in the engine to fool you in to thinking the issue was resolved by adding the oil/additive. Are you always adding to a cold engine?

I got a Lincoln navigator 2004 my abs ight and avtra light
How turn it off
The ABS warning light is on because the control module for the ABS has sensed a fault, until the fault is repaired the light will remain on and you have no ABS brakes. You need the ABS system scanned for the fault code to see what part or wiring is defective. When the system is repaired the light will go out.

Can I fix the horn Relay on a 2004 Navigator and which relay is it?
It is under the hood and it is marked out in the owner's manual But the horn is very unlikely to be the problem, the most common issue is that the contact drum under the steering wheel has a broken electrical filament, this filament connects to the horn switch. The part is called the clockspring contact drum

04 LINCOLN NAVIGATOR AIR RIDE COMPRESSOR HAS NO VOLTAGE
Somewhere, ahead of the compressor, are relays and a fuse or two. Your Lincoln dealer should be able to tell you where to look, if you do not wish to take it to them.
I think under the hood is the first place to look, as that circuit is requiring a lot of current.
You have a black plastic cover over a black plastic box with fuses and circuit breakers in it under the hood, and you might find the air ride system named in that box with a corresponding fuse.
God bless your efforts.
