1999 lincoln navagtor window not working
Depends on the wiring. The window motors had a corrosion problem and if you check out the wiring inside the door, you may find the motor is bad. There is a difference between left and right sides, they do not interchange. There is an additional window relay inside the door for the automatic function. Before condemning the motor, make sure this relay is good.
Is there any way to repair a cross-threaded spark
If you have sufficient room you can. Get a thread tap from a parts store (NAPA etc) with the exact thread of your plugs. Put a little motor oil on the tap and slowly thread it in. Thread it in a full turn, the back out 1/2 turn. Then in a full turn and back out 1/2 turn and so on. This may repair your thread without having to drill it our, put in a sleeve and re-tap it. Lastly, when you put in new plugs, always use 'No Seize on the threads and only tighten to snug. They aren't holding the car together.
Good luck.

HOW TO REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR HOSE ON 99 NAVIGATOR
Hi Ryan, It would seem as if there is a build up of chemical deposits which have reacted inside the hose. Gently keep moving it back and forth until the chemical seal breaks and you are able to remove it. Happy new year and Regards John

I have a huge loud knocking noise when i engage the 4wd on my 1999 navigator. i replaced the solinoid on the transfer case but it didnt stop. i thought it was maybe engaging the tranfer case 1/2 way.
I had a 4x4 year ago. Do you have front locking hubs ? I don't think so if you did I would ask if they were in or out. If there is nothing else It has to be coming from the transfer case. As far as I know no manufacture makes a true 4 wheel drive but Jeep except for maybe Raptor or Power Wagon. Most come with an open diff in the rear one wheel drive unless you order it special and the front you can't even order a locker if you wanted to 99.+% of 4x4s have open diffs in the front. Jack up one front wheel and one rear wheel if you didn't order a special rear end if you try to drive off the jacks you will sit there and spin your 2 wheel drive and not move.Ford says if you have worn tires or not the same air pressure in all tires it will do this. I think you have a bad u joint or pieces broken in the transfer case or it is out of adjustment. Jack car up like I said before and when the wheels spin without pulling it off the jack stands crawl under and see where the noise is coming from front or transfer case.I wonder if your shift motor could be bad they are about 65 dollars
