The entire dash must be removed to gain access to the heater box that must also be removed to change out the core. You can google: how to replace heater core on 96 Lincoln town car. There is a motor back there. You gently push the trunk lid down, then the motor pulls it closed. Fuse #8 15 amp, but usually people damage this system by slamming the trunk lid, then the motor needs replaced. I hope that's not the case; they are $$$ not cheap. if the door locks and the power mirrors work, this fuse is good.

Locate Inertia Fuel Shutoff Switch--in trunk on left side of rear package tray support and depress reset button (on switch)

check/clean your MAF... be very careful when doing this

AC usually blows out the dash vents, not the floor.

there is a broken vacuum line or the blend door actuator is no good

look under the cover under the trunk lid, and the motor that pulls the lid down. sometimes the bolts come loose and the motor slides, or a wire is loose on the motor or the fuse is blown. good luck and let me know if I can help more.

smae electrics as the europeon mondeo i think?? but not sure in which case it will be built into the computer I think but never seen a lincoln so do not quote me

this can happen when the power switch has a fault , if you want to make sure it stays up and not come down when not wanted , as can/will do this as well as go up ,remove the fuse for the power windows until you get the switch replaced

Not sure if we are talking about same lights but what I call parking lights are the site marker lights not head lights where turn signal light are located if this is what you mean sounds like you may have a bulb out try pulling bulb that you know is working and switch it out with non working one they should be same bulb on left that Is on right

there could be several reasons why you have water in your motor oil #1 blown head gasket #2 cracked cylinder head. You need to do compression check on all cylinders.that would be the place to start.

Use the vin # and go online to a vin decoder it will tell you the info

According to Haynes Manual, for a 4.6 OHC motor, the Freeze plugs are located about 3-4 inches below the cylinder head, under the exhaust manifold. The back plug is 5-6 inches in front of the bell housing on the block. They are pictured on page 2C-21 of the Manual in section 15 Engine Block Cleaning..

One is covered with a red rubber cover, this one is held in place by a nut. Pull the rubber back and remove the nut. The other should have a tab that releases the plug. The tab needs to be pushed out to release. If there is no tab then in should pop out by prying around the edges with a screw driver.
