Go to YouTube, and enter "2005 Hyundai Tiburon GT valve timing" in the search box. You will find several videos that deal with changing the timing belt and water pump. Toward the end of each video, when they are reassembling the components, they will show the correct way to set the crankshaft pulley and cam pulleys to properly time the engine.

Oxygen sensors are usually located in the exhaust system. Assuming yours has the V6 engine you have 4 fitted. They are labelled in the attached photo.

Check your ground cables at both ends as well as power feed cables .

If the radio was on when you jump started car you may have overloaded display, and the radio as a whole may have suffered. You may need to replace the radio. Sorry can't be more help.

Check all fuses, there are probably a few more blown.

Just a guess here, but I would replace the range selector switch. Sounds like water in it. I would put it on a scanner to make sure. But I have my own scanner. A code reader may pick this up. Free at part stores.

Possibly the crank sensor Does it have an anti theft system ?

It's actually possible that your "stop Lamp Switch" is faulty. There is a recall in Canada for changing these. If your stop lamp switch has faulted, it will either leave your brake lights on constant, or your lights won't even illuminate when you hit the brakes. I'd try that out.

have a load test done on the battery as cold weather kills batteries.

lol u gotta take it apart and line up the plate again use the lining up tool or go buy one at autozone and follow torque specs but also check gear selector and stick shift cables etc before taking it off again

Happened to a friend of mine not to long ago. All we had was a rock lol. Tapped on it a few times and since then no problems as of yet

The "check engine" light is an indicator for a system that monitors many electronic functions in the system, also called the "malfunction indicator lamp" (MIL). With a 1996 or newer and some 95 cars and you have an AutoZone or Advanced auto parts in your area, they will read them for free. Once you have these code numbers, we can be a lot more specific about what your problem may be.

it sounds like transmission trouble take it to a shop cause i dont think you wil have the tools to fix the trans at home

the connection switch is fitted to the gearbox. it is probably the only switch on the gearbox with two wires coming out of it.________________spare transponder key

with this cars u really got to stepp on it for it to change gears ,,it happen to mewhere im bearly steppn on it,igets stuck until tht little push ,,but if u got a trans mission code then its ya ******,,get checked for any codes at autozone change your fluid check if usmell burnor the color of the fluid is not red ..change thefluid
