This is an interesting fault. The click you hear is the relay, that puts power on the starter motor, but you do not hear the starter motor turn. (Or do you?) First suspect is the battery, they do get old and tired, but you say after a while it cools down and starts, so its probably not the battery. Check the cables to and from the starter motor, and the fat earth cable from the engine to the body (in the engine bay) make sure they are undamaged, clean and the connections are not loose. IF all looks ok I suspect the starter motor. remove the starter motor and clean it.

Are you topping it off when filling up? We had a Honda Civic that did this. Dealer solution was stop topping the gas off. When it clicks at $69.59, just stop, don't try to get it to $70 worked perfectly.

Could be IAC sensor.

Come back with a code from the scan tool and you will, get a close answer to the fault.

I've only seen that on cars that have a vacuum modulator on the trans, but I don't imagine that those are in use for some time now. if you've got one, that's your problem.

if you notice on the pulley there is 2 cut outs on pulley face ligne up the 1 hole to have access to top bolt directly on top side of pump. bellow, but by the backside of pump there is another pivot bolt to loosen. at this point you should be able to release tension on belt.

the accent does not have a v6 eng. but if it is an accent, with power locks, sounds like a bad power door lock actuator.
