Heating unit is delayed when you turn the heater on. It takes atleast 15 minutes or more before it comes on. what could be the problem.

When you say "unit is delayed" are you saying the fan does not come on when you switch the unit on, or that the air blowing takes 15 mins to get hot?

For a xg 350

this car does not have a reset switch like a ford. if you know for sure that there is no fuel pumping in the fuel line then check the fuel pump fuse and relay underhood. there shouldnt be any wire in the front of the car that causes the fuel pump to stop working if the wires in front are damaged by a collision. fuel pump is in the tank but there should be an access hole under the back seat bottom cushion. the seat cushion can be a pain to get loose.

Car jumped time how do i reset the timing

Take it to a shop. (Not trying to be rude in any way) This is not a repair for a novice mechanic. If your mechanical skills are really good then to reset the timing you will need to pull the timing cover off and expose the timing belt. If it has jumped time it is best just to replace the belt as it might be damaged. You will need to set the car in top dead center and line all the timing marks up on the cams and harmonic balancer. Loosen the belt tensioner and slide the old belt off. Then you will need to remove the harmonic balancer this is a pain in the ***. You will need a puller and strap wrench to get it off. Once you get it off slide the old belt off. Install the new belt and reverse for assembly.

Codes p0300 p0301 p0303 p0305 no driveability

P0300 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
Basically this means that the the car's computer has detected that not all of the engine's cylinders are firing properly.

A P0300 diagnostic code indicates a random or multiple misfire. If the last digit is a number other than zero, it corresponds to the cylinder number that is misfiring. A P0302 code, for example, would tell you cylinder number two is misfiring. Unfortunately, a P0300 doesn't tell you specifically which cylinder(s) is/are mis-firing, nor why.

Symptoms may include:
* the engine may be harder to start
* the engine may stumble / stumble, and/or hesitate
* other symptoms may also be present

Causes: A code P0300 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
* Faulty spark plugs or wires
* Faulty coil (pack)
* Faulty oxygen sensor(s)
* Faulty fuel injector(s)
* Burned exhaust valve
* Faulty catalytic converter(s)
* Stuck/blocked EGR valve / passages
* Faulty camshaft position sensor
* Defective computer

Possible Solutions

If there are no symptoms, the simplest thing to do is to reset the code and see if it comes back.

If there are symptoms such as the engine is stumbling or hesitating, check all wiring and connectors that lead to the cylinders (i.e. spark plugs). Depending on how long the ignition components have been in the car, it may be a good idea to replace them as part of your regular maintenance schedule. I would suggest spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, and rotor (if applicable). Otherwise, check the coils (a.k.a. coil packs). In some cases, the catalytic converter has gone bad. If you smell rotten eggs in the exhaust, your cat converter needs to be replaced. I've also heard in other cases the problems were faulty fuel injectors.

Random misfires that jump around from one cylinder to another (read: P030x codes) also will set a P0300 code. The underlying cause is often a lean fuel condition, which may be due to a vacuum leak in the intake manifold or unmetered air getting past the airflow sensor, or an EGR valve that is stuck open.

Try this same solutionsa for each case, keep in mind that P0302 is missfire for #2 cyl, P0305 is misfire for #5 cyl and more.

Hope this helps (remember to rate this answer).

Timing belt limp home mode

If the timing belt breaks the engine will not run! the timing belt is what keeps the crank and cams in "time" if the belt breaks the crankshaft can no longer turn the cams which will not allow fuel to get in, exhaust to get out, or compression to occur.
