Check the resistance on the injectors. You may have bad injectors thats why it is idling rough. Use a multimeter to check the resistance. Normally the reading should be anywhere from 12 ohms to 20 ohms. Extremely high resistance indicate a bad injector. Do not energize the injectors with 12 volts DC. You will burn them up. They are designed to operate on pulsating current.

I have a 1998 hyundai elantra i had to push it in
hi from uk have read your symptoms and from what you have described your starting /failure to turn engine ? 1st have you checked the leads to the starter motor are secure ? especially the single thin wire that fits to the starter solenoid on a spade connector ensure it is fully clipped on ? if ok ? may i suggest you try this ?= connect a single jump lead to the earth connector post on battery then the other end of jump lead to a suitable earth connection on the engine then try starter ifthis works your problem is a faulty/corroded or loose earth connection from the battery to the chassis/andon to engine usually connected to a bolt on point where trans connects to engine ? for info i have come across this problem a few times on accents and found that for some reason the thin wire connected to starter solenoid had come loose due to not clipped fully on also the earth lead from batteries have not had clean/securety loose bolt hope this helps and wish you luck
Blown ecu fuse
ECU= Electronic Control unit. This is what controls all the engine electronics. All the sensors on the engine and other things are routed through the part. What it does is tells the engine how to run. Each sensor plays a specific role. The ECU reads how much are the engine is getting, tells the engine how much gas it needs, etc. Try digging around a salvage and finding a new ECU. Swap it out, and if it is still blowing the ECU fuse then you need to start looking for shorts.
My clutch does not want to engage, can't push the
There are 2 possibilities.
- Since the clutch is hydraulic, some particle is jamming the rod-piston movement, hene the clutch lever is jammed(if using manual transmission)
- The springs which press the clutch plate to the engine(cam) are either brken off, meaning the clutch remains engaged all the time and since the hydraulics are not able to push them apart(release the clutch)-applicable for auto or manual trensmission.............. ..sodeep

Go to
www.hmaservice.com and register( Vehicle by VIN). Afterward, you have access to shop manuals, service bulletins, wiring diagrams, etc. about your vehicle.Take/Tow your vehicle to an authorized Hyundai dealership and pay the diagnostic fee... they will tell you exactly what the problem is and the cost of parts/labor to fix it... at least this way you'll know what the problem is and what's required to fix it.Whenever the 'CHECK ENGINE' (Service Engine Soon) light comes on, the ECU (Engine Control Unit) sets a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC). These codes identify the particular engine management system which caused the light to come on.
You'll need to use/find an OBDII (On-Board Diagnostic) Scanner to retrieve any code which have been stored in the ECU computer. Afterward, we might be able to help you DIAGNOSE the problem and perhaps eventually fix the problem.
