1992 hyundai elantra no power to camshaft angle

I think power for this comes from ECU, so might try disconnecting battery, then ECU plug and spray with contact cleaner and reconnect. If no help, you must trace the wiring to look for break, but first insure the ECU is getting power. In fact, first check all fuses. Is everything else getting power?

Valve clearance

There are two ways to find the Exact Value Adjustment.

1. Valve adjustments are usually labeled on a sticker in the engine bay.

2. Valve adjustment will also be mentioned in the user manual, if you don't have ask your nearest Hundai service center for details.

As it is a very old version, i have scraped the data.

Thank you

2003 Hyundai Elantra won't start.

Has similar problem, just got back from the shop and they said it's the neutral safety switch.

Tip on starting even with a broken switch:
1.) Turn the key all the way to start position (you will hear the gas pump humming and all the lights should be on)
2.) press the clutch pedal all the way down (if it starts, then it's fine, if not, proceed to step 3)
3.) release the pedal slowly and just slightly (an inch or so).
-->on the first try, you should hear a slight click and feel the car moving slightly. That's the point where the car tried to start.
4.) Repeat step 3 for several times if the car doesn't start until you are able to grasp that exact point and once you hear that click, hold the clutch at that point and the engine should fire away.

Of course this is just for temporary counter measure, I have to do this because this is my commuter car and I got to find a way to have a reliable and predictable start. Hope this helps.

I need to change the water pump. also if the water

no, leaking water pump just means it is time to replace your pump. Not continue driving until you get around to it. replace it now. If it is not starting something esle is wrong. Unless you've over-heated the engine.

My car wont start

Check the position of the wires with the coil, some coil in Hyundai have number 1,4,3,2 these number are the cylinder, in the motor the cylinder number 1 is the first of the left if you are in front of the hood, and check the spark gap to 1.0-1.1mm

Computer

I can locate one in new zealand relatively cheap for you but that probably isnt too much help. Try EBAY and see if you can find one there. Failing that I would contact a local auto wrecker to see if they have one or can get one.

Let me know how you got on

Cheers
