did it start before you changed plugs?

you can do it...its pretty simple.ask your parts store for the air filter for the can and then ask them to show you how to put it in they will usually do it for you at no cost to you.

check other fuses

A badly worn clutch, misadjusted clutch can cause that.

look under the rear seat. there might be a plate to get to it.

Check your engine oil cap and see if the inside of it has yellowish gooey & slimey build up in it. If so you coolant is leaking in to your engine oil

Sounds like the fuel pump is failing. I would check the fuel pressure to make sure it is within specs, call dealer or parts supplier for specifically for your vehicle, for example some vehicles require 45-56 psi. Have the vehicle scanned by a reputable shop right away. Driving the car the way you are WILL cause the transmission to fail and you will need to have it rebuilt. A good shop will have a scanner that will check for any trouble on the transmissions sensors. If all that checks out, you will need to have the unit rebuilt.

Easy problem. Check your clutch fluid (it is most likely low) master cylinder on the front of the gearbox most likely has failed, causing you to try and put it in gear, but then you broke the shifter cable. Easy fix.
