Is the accelerator blocked some kind of way? Maybe something is under the foot pedal. Also fuel flow like filter blockage or a bad pump.

Hi. Most of the larger fuses have a screw that goes into each leg of the fuse. Normally the fuse box will need to be removed slightly to access the screws. When they are removed the fuse shouldbpull out.

Look by the air cleaner.

Unfortunately it is easiest to reach from underneath while on a lift. The santa fe models are very similar in location.

my first place to look is in the driver door to body wire harness I am suspecting corrosion on the harness wires to pin connectors that go from left kick panel to door harness corrosion will cause everything from the horn to blow wipers work or radio come on off on own

There is not enough info here to diagnose. Withput any light you cant explaon where the smoke is coming from or provise a picture.

hissing noise could be an air intake leak , check all air intake ducting for any holes,cracks etc, have you had the OBD codes read ? this would point out any possible faultly parts

Have someone push down on the hood over the hood latch area while you pull the release, that may work. Once it is open lube everything up with white Lithium grease also known as "LUBRIPLATE:"

First have the battery tested and check the battery cables for corrosion and other damage.

at 60 F it is starting to get close to freezing as brake fluid is hygroscopic ( absorbs water from the air) it is very possible that the brake fluid is starting to get too thick to move in the brake lines from the water content in the fluid I would be flushing out the entire brake system and replacing the fluid from a new unopened container of brake fluid ensure that the cap seal on the reservoir is in good condition discuss this prospect with your brake people especially if it is some time since the fluid was replaced

No that is not the problem Have you run a fault code test yet, do that.

Listen to see if the fuel pump kicks in, if it doesn't your problem lies there.

Locks working on their own is most likely the BCM. Other things could be the range selector switch or a bad wire. Corrosion at the plugs also cause this. Just does't happen to Hyundai's.

Could be like a Toyota and have a "pack" that controls the head lights. Toyota does not have these for sale to the public but will replace them for you. Hopefully if the "pack" is what is wrong Hyundai has them available for sale to customers. On Toyotas t they are expensive just for the parts. Add the labor and I could fly from coast to coast and back for the price of having them replaced.
